I visited this store a couple times, and although my past experience wasn't the best. During my last visit I had a good experience. There are a few things this store can improve on, but I feel comfortable enough to return again.

Very happy with my interaction with Brayden (?) this evening when I bought dog food. Not only did he carry the very heavy bag to the front counter, he also carried out to my car.

I come here whenever I need food for my snake, and as a reptile owner, it can be tough to find pet stores in town with a good variety. Pet Valu has the best selection around, and I’ve been coming here for a while now. The staff are always knowledgeable, friendly, and ready to help.

I had forgotten an item I paid for by the front door while readjusting myself and my dog. The staff checked the cameras, found my phone number, and contacted me to let me know about this item. If I could give 6 stars for the exceptional service I ALWAYS receive at this location, I would.

This Tuesday I was looking for some snack for my dog. A lady in the store told me I can exchange it if my dog doesn't like it as I said my dog was picky. I never new about that policy I assumed since it's opened it shouldn't be returned. My dog didn't like it so brought it to the store today hoping to get something I know she eats. I was told I need a receipt which I never collected at the time of purchase. I said I picked it up from here on Tuesday but she still insisted on the receipt even if the package had some kind of sticker that store uses with a date or some numbers. Long story short I was refused the exchange. Good job for $12 you lost a good customer as we were always buying food and snacks for my doggy there. Pet Smart it is and I advise you to do the same. By the way people working in Pet Smart on Maple are very nice.

They lady was working there on July 23 2024 at 8:pm did not have a good attitude with us when we came here she was very unfriendly and rude we felt like we have been kicked out

Yeah, I am that customer. Four staff members and three customers. One girl quickly came to help me to choose the product. She was very helpful, kind and professional. I have the right product, just one item, waiting to pay. Only one cash register open, attended by trainee. I get it, she is slow because she is learning, so I wait patiently for very long time because the customer had a complicated return situation . In the meantime another lady, who came to the store after me, somehow pushed herself into the line in front of me. It’s okay, I am not going to make a noise about it, but it turned out, that she has a big order to go through. With trainee it takes forever. Again, four staff members behind the counter. Since I have only one item, I asked if they can scan me in the other cashregister. It would take 10 seconds: scan the product , I tap my card and I am gone.In quite a rude manner they said no, this cash register is closed. At this point, four staff members, two customers, trainee attending the only cash register open. It should never, ever take that long to buy anything, so I left the item and left the store. I have better things to do than spend a Saturday evening in the lineup.

The staff are amazing! Had an issue with litter not clumping and they were so accommodating and took incredible care to ensure my cat and I were well taken care of. Top notch service with heart ❤️
