Aldo Customer Service Review – Square One Mall
As a long-time loyal customer of Aldo, I have purchased numerous items over the years, including shoes and handbags for both myself and my family, not only in Canada but also while traveling abroad. My experiences with the brand have generally been positive—until my recent visit to the Aldo store at Square One Mall.
I returned to the store with a pair of shoes that were uncomfortable, fully expecting a smooth process given that I had the receipt and the shoes were in perfect condition. However, the store manager’s dismissive attitude quickly soured the experience. Instead of addressing my concerns or offering a reasonable solution, she refused to process the return with no valid explanation.
To make matters worse, without any provocation or escalation on my part, the manager called mall security. This response was not only excessive but deeply embarrassing. I had simply come to return shoes and was treated as though I was causing a disturbance. The security guard, who was professional, seemed as perplexed as I was by the situation.
Given that I’ve been a regular Aldo customer both in Canada and internationally, this experience was incredibly disappointing. I’ve always trusted Aldo for both style and service, but this incident left me feeling disrespected and devalued as a loyal customer. It’s not the level of service I expect from a brand I’ve supported for years, and I sincerely hope that Aldo reconsiders how they train their staff to handle customer issues with care, professionalism, and basic respect.

Omg! I literally had the best experience ever at this store. Rand was amazing. She stayed with me the whole time. Gave me adive on the outfit i was trying to put together. She was so patient with me. The store manager was awesome. Wow! Wow! It's so rare to find such exceptional customer service these days
