I recently had a disappointing experience with Manager Kevin. He struggled with handling customer service issues. I purchased AirPods for over $800 just 15 days ago, and they have a sound issue. When I visited the store to request a replacement, Kevin immediately refused and didn’t even give me a chance to explain the problem. He came across as rude and aggressive. I’ve been a loyal iPhone customer, but this experience makes me reconsider buying their products due to the poor customer service. No more IPhone.

I never expected my Apple shopping experience to be this disappointing, especially as a long-time Apple user since high school. I received two iPhone 16 Pro Max units with unresponsive and lagging screens from the store’s business team. The issue was immediately noticeable, and even the Genius Bar technicians—Geoff, Sunny, and a supervisor in a blue shirt—acknowledged the lag.
I reported the issue the same day, but they refused to replace the devices, repeatedly mentioning AppleCare, which was irrelevant to my problem. They claimed that devices purchased through the business team were ineligible for replacement. When I contacted the business team via email, they confirmed that replacements could indeed be made if necessary.
After returning to the store, I was told they wouldn’t replace the phone but would attempt a repair, which included a software reset and touch screen replacement. This led to a screen replacement on a brand-new iPhone that was only a day old. After the repair, the issue persisted, and none of the staff members who had previously confirmed the problem were present. Instead, the store manager came out, dismissed my concerns, refused to involve any of the technicians, and firmly denied a replacement.
Frustrated, I left the iPhone on their repair desk as I disagreed with their approach, especially after receiving multiple conflicting promises from both the blue-shirt supervisor and the business team about a replacement if the issue continued. The supervisor, who had promised to be present, was nowhere to be found, and the manager insisted that I accept the faulty device. They wasted three days of my time with misleading information, causing me to go back and forth with no resolution. When I left the phone, they told me it was my property and would be sent to lost and found if I didn’t take it.
When I tried to document this interaction, the manager instructed me to leave, effectively banning me from the store. In the end, the manager took possession of the phone, which I can no longer access.
They no longer represent the original Apple; it feels as though they only care about profit, disregarding customer service and integrity.

I recently visited the Apple Store at Square One Mall in Mississauga to buy the new iPhone 16 Pro 256 GB as a surprise gift for my girlfriend. I was lucky to meet Sayad, an associate who went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. He not only explained all the amazing features of the iPhone 16 Pro but also gave me a unique idea to surprise my girlfriend with it.
Sayad’s knowledge of the iPhone 16 Pro was impressive! He walked me through the standout features, like the enhanced camera capabilities, super-smooth display, and exceptional battery life. He even highlighted how the new software optimizes everything for a seamless user experience, which I know my girlfriend will love.
Thanks to Sayad’s friendly and professional assistance, I left the store confident in my purchase and excited to give this surprise gift. If you’re looking for top-notch customer service and expert guidance, Sayad at the Apple Store in Square One is the person to ask for!

I bought a phone from here they changed my contract and they told me that my new contract covers US and Canada calls. And then i went to Florida made some phone calls. Faced 400$ bill when i got back to canada. Manager telling me sorry we didn’t know and cant fix your contract. I won’t buy anything from this inexperienced store anymore..

This location’s customer service isn’t the greatest. (to put it lightly)
Went to the store with the intention of purchasing an iPhone AND an iPad, but walked out empty handed.
Staff were either unwilling to help or flat out ignoring customers, which was super bizarre.
I highly encourage everyone to make the drive to Apple Yorkdale instead. They are far more welcoming and helpful. ?

I came in because my phone wasn’t charging and thus I couldn’t complete a data transfer. I even specifically explained that that I have tried multiple chargers and different outlets and it still wouldn’t charge. They asked me to come back 1.5 hours later so I wasted time in the mall, only to tell me that they can’t turn on my phone if it’s not charging, and therefore can’t help me. What a waste of time.

I'm not usually one to write reviews, but after my recent experience, I feel compelled to share. I visited this location for a simple battery replacement, but unfortunately, the process didn't go as smoothly as expected. My device ended up with a damaged display and, as I later discovered, a compromised motherboard.
Initially, I believed the issue was isolated to the display, so I returned, hoping to resolve it under the warranty. However, the response I received was disappointing, with the manager firmly denying any responsibility for the damage, saying that it was 1000% not their fault. In search of a second opinion, I visited the Apple Buffalo location during a trip to the US. The team thoroughly evaluated and confirmed that the motherboard damage occurred during the initial battery replacement. While they could not replace the display immediately due to specific testing conditions, they did address and fix the back component of my iPhone, including the original faulty battery repair.
Thankfully, the Apple Sherway Garden team later assisted in replacing my display, acknowledging that it was indeed affected by the prior repair service. It was a relief to learn that, due to my iPhone's US-model specifications, the repair would not have been possible in Canada if it weren't for the Buffalo location's assistance.
The initial location's training and customer service approach could benefit from improvements. Next time, I'll go to Apple Sherway Garden for future repairs, even if it takes an extra drive to ensure quality service. Apple Square one location will do everything possible to refuse to repair a product for free, even if they are at fault. This was the 2nd time I have had issues with this location. The last time was five years ago, and they only repaired my phone because I had Apple Care and was near the end of the warranty. The staff and technicians of this location are desperate for proper training.

very Bad experience i was order online iphone 16 pro white that time show in square one store i pay full amount , next day i going there on time for pickup my phone all staff said your order not ready , after i meet another staff member to say i want this iphone he said yes sure i have then i say i already he said cancel online order i give to you same one, its all make a fool ,
