UPDATE FEB. 19, 2025: Two weeks ago, a complaints ticket from Canada Post had been generated on their website because of my complaint about non-delivery of my mail for two days. Well, I still haven't heard back from them in response despite my giving full contact information. Worse, one of the others who had complained told me that she'd been told that Canada Post NEVER answers these complaints. Huh? Why not? Why is there an option online to complain when it's absolutely pointless to do so as a customer? I am so frustrated and annoyed with Canada Post but at least the mail continued.
UPDATE FEB. 2025: Back in October 2024, a brief announcement from Canada Post had been made on CP24 about how the prices for all postage would increase by 25% in January 2025 because of their decreased business. Then the postal strike happened, lasting about a month or so. Major delays in receiving mail, e.g. late bills finally received in mid-January. The postage prices increased quietly in mid-January 2025 as predicted. I'm wondering if there will be an additional increase in prices to compensate for the increased wages for the postal workers after the settlement of the strike. No wonder people don't want to use the mail much anymore!
Last Friday, a number of us in the building in which I live in Toronto had emailed the Complaints Department at Canada Post about the lack of mail delivery here on Thursday and Friday. That had held up our receiving the $200 cheques from the provincial government. As of today, the following Wednesday, no word has been received by us in response to the official complaint "ticket" that we'd posted on their webpage. Mail had resumed to this building. Why hadn't there been mail delivery by even a substitute postal worker during those two days? I am really unhappy with Canada Post right now and won't be in any rush to mail anything out to anyone.
PREVIOUSLY SEVEN MONTHS AGO: The proper running of this postal facility is of critical importance in order to motivate the staff members to be comfortable, happy and most productive. In turn, the public gets their mail delivered faster. But, the problem is that there are internal circumstances involving management and the union members that lessen this ideal of speedy postal delivery.
Unfortunately, there are a number of instances of ongoing bullying within Gateway employees involving management and the union members. This has to stop for everybody's sake. Please do something about this ASAP, Canada Post.

They don’t even deserve 1 star… THE WORST post office company in the world! I hate every time I order something and it’s coming from Canada post. For years I’ve had same address for years they have sent multiple packages to my home but for whatever reason over and over they manage to mess up my address which causes a delay for what reason!! They need to make an option to go their warehouse and have us do their job for them and grab my package since they have such a problem doing simple task. They need to shut down or step up. Because they just awful

Horrible service. Our package sat there for over a day when it was suppose to be delivered in one day! This actually happened twice. When you call they tell you they are looking into it, but nothing comes of that. My goal is to never ship another parcel with Canada Post if possible. The service is not reliable.
