Beware of this business. This is no hidden gem.
I sent a failed mark levinson amp from a Lexus for repair.
Terrible customer service on the phone.
The woman doing the phone calls is very abrupt and rude. She must own the shop or be related enough to not care to be helpful. Over due for a throat punch, shes that rude.
The returned and repaired Amp failed again, they essentially said they'll look at it again BUT I HAVE TO PAY THE SHIPPING!
These people are pirates capitalizing on repairing terrible OEM electronics.
$800 spent and they offer little recourse except for you to figure it out. Like a soviet era operation.
Use them as a last resort but other wise use a bluetooth speaker for your in car audio.
Thanks guys for nothing!

I sent my 2014 Lexus IS350 headunit in for repair. As another review stated, Danmax has been mentioned in forums to have a fix for the Lexus restart loop of death. I live in Alberta and was able to pull my headunit out myself and ship it to Danmax. With the shipping there, the repair, and shipping back, it took 3 weeks total. My headunit is working again, and I would recommend Danmax for anyone looking for a fix for their Lexus headunit. I was quoted $3200, not including tax for a new headunit from Lexus. I paid just over $1100 for the repair, this includes tax and shipping there and back.

Would not recommend.
Caused my daughter to spend $400 to tell us what the code reader already told us..
Long story short.. he was wrong about the issues he said it needed. The “inexperienced” guy fixed the problem for $30.
Apparently the receptionist was extremely rude as well.

In the absence of a working DANMAX website request for repair estimate form, I called to see what alternative means I could use to forward my details.
The person (woman) handling the phone seemed rather annoyed by my request, but reluctantly took my info and said it would be passed along. I am still waiting after three weeks, with no response either way. It seems they are really not interested to conduct the business they are purported to be in.

I would never go to this place again. They charged me $ 650 for a heating mode replacement. It takes 15 min to do it and the module cost $ 100 itself. Returned me my car with many issues. My car was there for 8 weeks. STAY AWAY!!!!

Got my lexus headunit fixed from this business a few months ago. If you have an IS and know about headunit failure, then you know the cost of a new headunit is half the price of the car.
Anyway, i took my unit out my car myself and brought it to them. They make you write and stick a sticker with your info and details of the issue. They told me they would take a day or two to get back to me about the estimate but in reality, 15m after leaving they called and quoted me. I agreed and by mid week of the following week my unit was ready. It’s not cheap but way less than the alternatvies and my head unit is working again. They give a 3 month warranty so there definitely are better options if you want warranty out there but they came recommended from the forums so put trust in that.
While the front desk lady can be a little “standoffish”, I really didnt have any issues. Would be nice to be kinder, I agree, but it’s the eastern european way lol. Personally, I found people who are like this tend to be really good at their job and at the end of the day if I get what I’m paying for i really don’t care. For reference, i am a brown person. I was born and raised here and didnt feel any particular racism in my interactions. I’m not saying they aren’t racist but I’m not one to care about that so long as everyone does what we agree upon - and they did.
I would recommend them and i will return for future services… at least until i have a reason not too

This guy has my ecm for 3 weeks and tells me on the 3rd week it's not taking programming...3 weeks I didn't work we are on the 4th week it's ridiculous wouldnt recommend to anyone

Wasted my time and charged me after telling me he can read an ecu for a 2021 nissan gtr when he clearly couldn't. The front office tried to tell me it was for opening the ecu, which I dropped off open and ready to go.

Extremely RUDE staff and RACIST too, especially the white lady (AKA KAREN) at the front
I went there with a friend, we were waiting for some staff member there in the mean time me and my friend were talking in our mother tongue
Lady didn’t like it, she was making faces and she refused to talk to us and told her colleague to deal with us, she thought we both (me and my friend ) don’t understand English that well….but I do
Not to forget she told her colleague that she doesn’t want to take a headache to explain things to us otherwise she would end up arguing with us
I bet if there was a white shinned lady over there instead of us they would have treated them nicely
Very disappointing experience I had
If you are brown skinned - they don’t treat you with the respect and they overcharge you. I don’t recommend this place at all !!!
