This Dollarama location isn't accessible for those with mobility limitations or the physically challenged. They have an ok selection of stuff. The line ups are long to checkout and are mostly self checkout if I'm not mistaken.

Review for 12/24/25.If I could give this store 0 stars I would. First of if there is an advertising price on an item they should honour it. Instead the store manager said, “ you either buy it or not”. I don’t know how she is a store manager and what world she is in but that is not how you talk to a customer no shape or form!! She proceed to tell me to look at the line up as if it was my issue. I don’t know who trained her. HIGHLYYYY do not recommend this location.

On Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at approximately 5:20PM, I went to the store to purchase some items and filled my shopping basket.
When I went to pay, I informed the cashier that I would check out by myself. An older female cashier wearing glasses told me to go to another cashier. When I went there, a younger female cashier (Indian) told me to go back to the first one. When I returned, the older cashier again refused to process my payment and redirected me elsewhere.
At that point, it became very clear that both employees did not want to do their job and were sending me back and forth on purpose. There was no long line and no customers waiting, yet neither of them was willing to check me out. It felt like they were intentionally avoiding working and preventing me from paying.
This behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable. I felt embarrassed and extremely frustrated, and I was close to leaving my items and walking out of the store.
If there is a specific checkout procedure, it should be communicated clearly and respectfully. Management should be aware of this incident so it does not happen again with other customers.😡😡😡😡😡😡

I went in today looking for an item and I saw these 2 employees so I went up to them and said excuse me twice and one employee was wearing a yellow shirt and she pretended not to hear me even though I was right in front of her. Then when I said I have a question she rolled her eyes at me and turned away while I was talking to her. I don’t know what kind of customer service this place has but if you are an employee who doesn’t feel like doing their job or being nice to customers then maybe you shouldn’t be working.

This Dollarama is bigger than it looks. Plenty of inventory, my only tiff is that the pricing keeps going up and up

Dollarama in Square One is a great addition to the mall for everyday essentials and budget items. It’s super convenient — if you don’t find something here, there’s a Walmart right beside it. The store is well-stocked and organized, and most of the items you’d expect from Dollarama are available. The location is a bit unique since the mall entrance is on the upper level while the store is on the lower level, so you’ll need to take the escalator or elevator down. Staff are generally helpful and friendly. Overall, a solid shopping spot for quick, affordable finds.
