Very uncomfortable experience. I was browsing the trash bins section when I noticed what appeared to be the manager (ginger middle aged woman) following me closely around the store. Shortly after, I was accused of taking a chocolate bar, which I did not do. When I said no, I was met with a dirty look instead of an apology.
The whole situation felt like racial profiling and made me feel unwelcome and disrespected as a customer. I shop here to buy items, not to be treated like a suspect. This experience seriously needs to be addressed. If you’re a person of colour expect to be racially profiled by her.

No DISCLAIMER regarding LARGE SCREEN CLOSE-UP Surveillance cameras @ Self scan CHECKOUT. Recently added monitoring staff(Standing in front & 2 people at regular cashier CHECKOUT. Only 1 staff on floor. Checked 2 other Dollarama locations similar self scan checkouts (No monitoring staff/1 person at regular checkout.Dollarama Head Office needs to better regulate this location to make sure Customers are treated with more respect & dignity.FYI: Mall has W--D Canibus,LCBO,Beer Store & Tim stores.

I made a purchase of $83 and asked the associate of i can make $20 in coins which i had sorted in 25cents/10 cents / 5 cents.
The cashier said yes but called a supervisor to count. I dint understand why. They were not friendly when counting but I thanked them and left. The supervisor followed me when I was just getting out the door and said we dint accept coins and if you go to bank you will be charged etc. She was super rude. I said I did ask the associate first if you will accept of not i could have swiped my card. She was like we did you a favor.
I also got some racist vibes but dint want to call out since I wasn't sure if she is rude for giving change ? Because i am brown ? Or it's just her personality. Anyways, it's bad in either case and I am sure to avoid this Dollarama in future.

I just love this place. So much to offer at amazing prices. You can get almost everything related to house hold there. But they should add more variety in kitchen utensils and baking accessories.
