I recently visited the Fido store at Square One Mall, Mississauga to resolve an issue where my phone number. customer service executive refused to assist with linking my phone number to my Fido profile and insisted—incorrectly—that it could only be resolved by calling customer service. More importantly, she made no effort to confirm this information or seek help from a colleague, despite the issue being well within the store’s capability. After a long wait, another representative resolved the same issue in under a minute. This reflects a lack of initiative, ownership, and basic customer service from the first executive. Customers should not have to wait or escalate informally for a problem that can be resolved quickly by staff who are willing to help.

I would like to sincerely appreciate Amro at this store. We needed to return a product, and he personally contacted Rogers to identify the issue and resolve it. He spent nearly an hour advocating on our behalf and successfully completed the return at no cost to us. Beyond that, he proactively found a deal to waive our activation fee even after a month, which we had not even requested. Customer service like this is rare. Amro truly went above and beyond, and the store is fortunate to have him.

We had an excellent experience upgrading our phones today thanks to Rehan. He was polite, patient, and very helpful. We got great deals on new Pixels as well as some accessories. This location also has a good inventory stock compared to other Fido branches. Thanks Rehan!

Amro, the manager at Fido, was rude and dismissive. He disregarded my wife’s questions and requests, choosing to speak to me instead of addressing her directly, which was completely disrespectful. Over the phone and in person, his behavior was unprofessional and appalling. Rather than leading by example, he showed his employees that it’s acceptable to treat customers poorly. His conduct was offensive, unacceptable, and completely unfit for a manager.

The manager, Amro, at Fido Square One was extremely rude and unprofessional. He was dismissive over the phone and in person, refused to help, and showed no accountability for his behavior. His own staff had to apologize for him. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.
