I came in here a few days ago to return something. This brown lady kept saying she might not be able to return it because it looks “used.” It had a small dust spot because of their dirty floors. She kept assuming I’m the type of person to wear an outfit and return it. Like EW. I was so angry because I’m sure she was projecting. I hate the people who run this location. They’re rude and they all smell.

if you're tried of going to tpo mall/Vaughan mill or Square One, try this location
not much crowded and can find lot of stores nearby and Costco grocery and gas pump too

Clean, departments clearly marked but clothing was not necessarily where it belonged.
The main thing I didn't like was that the guy working in the change rooms was asking customers to make sure they put the clothes they didn't want back on the floor where they found them.
I always bring the stuff I don't want out of the change room in every store but this is the first time I've ever been asked to return it to the sales floor for the changeroom staff.
I can guarantee you that of the approximately 5-6 ppl in the changeroom, I was likely the only one who returned the clothing to where I found it. Most ppl probably left it there or hung it on the first rack they saw outside the dressing room area.
I then had to ask the cashier to apply the extra 50% discount that was promoted on the clearance items.
I also wanted to place an order for a coat they didn't have in the store & was told that I have to do it myself online.
H&M should consider allowing staff to order on the customers behalf as this would have guaranteed a larger sale.
I don't like shipping online so instead went and bought a coat from another store near by.
@H&M: everytime I go into one of your stores, there is always a line up waiting to pay. This is the first or 2nd time where I waited, but I normally drop what I was planning to purchase rather than wait the extra time it takes to pay in your stores. Something needs to be done about the wait time in the cash lineup, why is it only your stores that ALWAYS have this issue? The process should be addressed.
( Please note that I'm not suggesting that you implement self checkout. That would just be a more horrific issue. I shop in stores for service, and unless you provide a large enough additional discount, I will never do the cashier's job of checking myself out.)

They didn't gave me first sign up membership and when I asked for it they said we don't provide it here. However, my friend works in H$M at other location and it's their rule to provide membership to first timers. Person on the counter was confused and Manager was rude too she said, "They can have membership at their location".

The cashier has very rude attitude and a lack of basic knowledge of their own system responding to my return request for an online order. The cashier claimed herself to be the “supervisor” in store; however she does not even have common knowledge of the process of returning an item, as she informed me “someone will come to my door to pick up my online return” so she cannot return my item in store, which is insane!
