They have cold beer but not what some beer or even grocery stores now carry and more expensive. Also, I was looking for a small bottle of real champagne, like 2 glasses. I found only Moet at cash out, while champagne alley carries all the French makes. Lets get mode bubbly into Canada to complement our French-British heritage! There is enough Prosecco and even Canadian products but only larger bottles

Was sent to this LCBO to pick up wheat beer and your employee named Geoff saved the day as he filled a holder of wheat beers for me from around the world. He was awesome!!

This incident happened this past weekend. We understand it’s a busy time of year, which makes professionalism and clear communication even more important.
We came in to return one unopened bottle with the receipt. The cashier (who seemed new) needed a manager’s code and waited about 6–7 minutes. During that time, the usual return information (ID, reason for return, etc.) had already been collected, and all staff we interacted with were polite, friendly, and professional.
When the manager, Janine, arrived, her tone was immediately condescending. She did not check in with the cashier and instead spoke down to us. She again questioned why we were returning the bottle and made a judgmental comment (“You don’t drink?”), which was unnecessary and unprofessional.
She then demanded our phone number, stating it was “policy,” but did not explain the policy at all—not even in her own words—and simply pointed to a distant policy board. There was no apology for the long wait, neither to us nor to the cashier.
We will continue shopping here only because the employees are consistently kind and helpful. However, remaining calm, respectful, and clearly explaining store policies is part of a manager’s role—especially during busy periods. This was a very poor experience over a simple return.

Visited the LCBO in Heartland while looking for a specific item as a gift. The store is well organized, with cases and bottles neatly arranged. Aisles are clearly divided by country, type of liquor, and age, which made finding what I needed quick and easy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a smooth and efficient shopping experience.

Wasn't able to get American drinks Like JD for a party where I will have some American friends.
Also, I see now a days it's impossible to get bottles larger than 1.14L for good SM whiskies. What happened to Canada. Too much of wokeism is killing Canada

Could have given zero star if I could. I had a very disappointing experience at this LCBO location today. An older male staff member spoke to me in an extremely rude and dismissive way for no reason. His tone and attitude toward me felt completely unprofessional and uncomfortable. I left the store feeling disrespected and singled out.
I expect staff to be helpful and courteous, not confrontational or judgmental. No customer should be made to feel this way. I truly hope management addresses this behaviour, because it reflects very poorly on the store. The sales person was very professional and nice with another customer. Apparently he’s very “selective” with the group of people he’ll be nice to.
Well, we all are humans and nobody should be treated this way.
