Sephora Sq1: I went to your store yesterday to pick up my birthday free gift. The cashier was very cold. She scanned my card, the gift; handed it to me without a word. I said thank you. She didn’t even smile or nod her head. Malls and stores are not busy. Business is down. People are spending less. If you don’t like your job. Change it. I have always received great customer service. I stock up on my beauty supplies at least every 3 months. I may not go back to Sq1 because of this one cashier. Very unfortunate

Do not ever online purchase and get your purchased order ready for pickup at this location. Usually expect 2hrs pickup confirmation after order confirmation. No pickup conformation received after 2hrs. No one to ask for assistance or an area specifically for online order pickup. Lack of employee assistance. Staff that were there say that they were finished with their shift and yet they were still wearing their walkie talkies. All of their staff are stationed at either the beauty studio or at cashier; no one on the floor roaming ready to assist customers. Will not be attending this location in the future.

I love sephora other than their new regulation where they discontinued giving samples for trying before buying the actual product. It is such a waste buying a $100 product and then returning it because it reacted to your skin. I think they should start giving samples to save money and time serving customer returns.

I got perk lip and face hydrafacial treatment. It was done by Elena, and I loved every bit of it. Learned so much during my consultation with her. I would definitely buy products recommended to me according to my skin type. The treatment itself is worth every penny. It was a great start to my day. Thank you ?

5 stars because this is one of my favourite place to shop at! I needed some new stuff and water to try out new products! By the way this is from Black Friday! I just didn’t get a chance to write a review but as you can see I am very happy with my purchase. Yes, I have used the products by now and I totally recommend these products!!! For the Fenty Gloss Set though it might not be there since it was a limited edition but other than that you’ll find everything else. Not only that customer service is good and usually all products are well stocked on the shelf! Overall amazing store. I recommend this place for any type of skincare, tools, makeup you might need!

When I was checking out at the register the girl forced me to buy a lip stick for some promo I didn’t care for. Terrible attitude. If I say no TWICE it should be enough, telling me I “just have to” get this “great deal” and ringing it up yourself on my behalf is ridiculous. I should’ve spoke up but I was just so done with her. In the “promo” bag were three tiny samples of random perfume and a hand cream. Some deal. Hope she wins the contest at her work for most promo bags sold at the expense of me I guess?

Kind of conflicted on writing this review because I have been going to this location for years and the staff was nothing but respectful to me, but my recent few visits to the store was a lot different. The staff was generally impolite, with the exception of some lovely people. When I would ask questions, the employees would act like it was an incredibly demanding task to point me towards the product I was looking for. I didn't pay much mind to it because at least they showed me what I was looking for which is all I really cared about. However, an incident that took place yesterday afternoon was my final straw. I was looking to buy some skincare items but I needed help finding a certain product. So I asked a lady who looked like a manager if she or another employee could assist me, and she asked me to wait. I waited for several minutes, and when nobody came to help, I politely asked her again if I could get some help. She said \\\"I already called someone for you, what I'm gonna need from you is some patience\\\" in a rather rude tone. After that, I left the store without buying anything because I will not allow myself to be disrespected and treated like a burden by an egotistical manager. I really hope they raise their standards for their employees because I don't know what's causing it, but the quality of their customer service has been taking a nosedive lately.

My friends and I came to this location to test out some perfumes as we usually by them online. Usually when I go into Sephora’s I don’t feel too welcomed, but Afifa in the fragrance department helped us! She was so kind, sweet, and so easy to talk to! She gave us amazing recommendations and you could tell she is passionate about her job! I would definitely say this girl needs a raise given her expertise and 10/10 customer service!!

I got my eyebrows done for the first time from this girl named Mikaela and i loved it! She did a really good job and the overall experience was great. She made me feel comfortable the entire time and i loved the end results.

I have been a long time customer of Sephora so I know that when the store is very busy it can take a while to get some help which I don't mind. However, I found a staff member who was not busy helping anyone else and asked her a very specific question about Make Up Forever foundation - they discontinued their older version which I used to use and I wanted to know about shade matching etc. The response I got was just \\\"go try on the testers.' That is not a helpful or knowledgable response so I don't know why you even work there, if you can't help or say sorry that is not my area of expertise, let me find you someone who knows etc. The reason I will give 3 starts is that when I first entered, I asked for some help with Rare Beauty and that staff member was very helpful with me, which was great.

The location was square one, Mississauga .. The time around 5 something on Nov 15 . I have shopped and returned products before if not satisfied, but I ike to share a very horrible experience at the Square one location. Mostly the front representative are very friendly and understanding but this one experience has left me shaking. The product to return was an unused, not open package of holliroots mist. Firstly the product was purchased the last day of the 15% discount, last week I was not sure I want to use it but since it was 15% week ,I bought it thinking I will return after deciding.. That is exactly what I went to do at this location. As a honest individual, I went up to the checkout desk. Told the rep that I did not opened or used the product , just change my mind. She took the product , opened it and commence to inspect which I did not mind, that's her job. She then told me to wait and Called her Manager, , on duty, . I was actually surprised when she did that as I I had just told her that i have not opened the package and is unused. Thats when the most humility and embarrassing situation took place for me. The Manager, SUE LANGE bought another of the holiroot mist and started comparing , inspecting, smelling the product, although I was repeatedly telling her that I did not even opened the package and this is what is there. She insisted that my product don't have bubbles and the other product has . To protect my dignity and embarrassment I asked the Manager to bring another new bottle. That bottle was similar to my product but she still keep on insisting that it has crystals, which I don't know what she meant, of course implying that I am a liar and had tempered with the product. At this point I was shaking all over with humiliation and aghast. I then told her , can I return the product since she is saying it is defective , that she should addressed the issue with the manufacturer as this is what the contents in the bottle are..Her blunt response was 'No'.. company policy.., we will not issue a return. . I still keep on promising and pleading that I m being honest and that I have in no way tempered with the product. It all went on deaf ears..I was in tears and helpless at this point and frankly at her mercy. I left the store very disturbed by what has happened. It was not so much of the return at this point but trying to prove my innocence. I then called Sephora , customer service to report the incident but just received a general response back today. I have responded back to them, I m hoping that this incident will be taken seriously and dealt with. Since I was scrutinized as a liar, the embarrassment has left me with a low feeling today morning and the look of all the other employees casting that eye at me for arguing my innocence. Pure humiliation. I am still in shock at the treatment I received by this individual. It was so demoralizing. I will never be able to forget it for awhile. I lost all excitement of shopping in Sephora. . A very disturbing experience. I do not want some one else to go through this again.

All of the reviews saying that the staff is disrespectful are definitely not false. I was intimidated at the checkout counter or the woman just has a hearing/parsing problem. In that case maybe trying lowering the heckin music to hear people properly or lose the job that needs you to properly be able to communicate with people. I told her that “Amrit” helped me and she was like who’s that? I mean you don’t even know your own staff? Is it general unacceptability towards people who have a different accent or do they hate their own lives so much that they’re taking it out on the very people who make their store run? I’ll never know because you won’t be able to pay me to do the checkout at that store again. Shoutout to Amrit though, she was an angel.

I had an appointment yesterday at 4pm for my eyebrows. I was there half an hour early and the workers were aware that I was on time for my appointment they informed me they were finishing up with client before me and asked me to browse around sephora in the meantime. When it got closer to my appointment time I checked in with the eyebrow lady name (ARIANNA) who had taken a client who's appointment was for 4.30pm before mine knowing I had checked in. I feel it might be cause they knew eachother. It is not right work is work and when I asked her she was rude and said how the client was in a rush, and how she had already started and telling me to wait with no consideration to my time considering I even came early to my appointment. Will not be making any appointments at square one as I feel workers do not know professionalism.

KC at the beauty bar is amazing! She is very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable when it comes to brows. I never got my eyebrows done at Sephora before so I decided to give it a try. I was very pleased with the results and what she did to my brows. They have never looked better! I live in Toronto and specifically come to this location just to get them done by KC. I highly recommend her.
