I must say if you're at a dead-end, come to this branch. My situation was tragic, and some branches could not even assist. Like they had no ideas.
Please look for Monica Gehdu (manager) and colleague Noha for quality, assured, and satisfying customer service. They will find you solutions in banking.
I noticed they were very patient, calm, willing to help, and very much solution oriented. Thank you so much.
FYI: You can encounter professionals, but they may not be willing to assist you.
You can meet professionals, but they may be of no use to you. However, I believe that when you encounter commendable people like Monica and Noha, it's a solution guaranteed ?.
I'm very grateful.

Hasan Hasan. And I thought I am the only one catching him in a bad mood. Even threw a f word my way in the conversation.
Maybe depositing a small sum in an account is too much of a challenge, that consulting is necessary with a manger. So the frustration is vented to me.
TD is really in sad shape

I applied for a credit card and I had to pick it up from this branch instead of them just mailing the card to me like every other credit card. I get an email that tells me to bring 'two pieces of photo ID' which I assume is government ID. I go to bank for what I thought would be a quick in & out thing but was told that I had to wait in the long line to see a teller first. When I finally get to the front, I show my ID but was told that she could only accept one of my ID cards...the drivers license. They do not accept Health Cards. Nor did they accept my Government of Canada ID. I had my firearms license as well but we never got to that (I only mentioned it to her)
I don't mind if the health card is not accepted...as long as I was told before hand. When stating to bring two pieces of ID, would it be so hard to communicate that before one comes to present the ID. That they accept most ID but not Health Cards? That wasted my time unnecessarily. (I took a chance on the government of Canada ID so that's on me. But it is still government issued ID).
Now I cant fault the staff as they are probably doing what they are told and most of them were polite enough. But had they communicated what they accept as ID (or what they don't), that would have saved so much time. At the end of it all, I waited in that lineup for nothing as I had to leave without the credit card.
The whole experience left a sour taste with TD and especially the Square One Branch.
Not too thrilled about TD shipping the card to the Square One Branch instead of my home either. But that is more on TD visa than the branch.
Edit: I spoke with TD visa today. They do not mail to home addresses as a fraud safety check (not what I wanted to hear but I can appreciate that). However, the TD visa rep stated that 2 of the 4 ID’s I brough should have been accepted….the drivers license & the firearms (FA) license. The teller recognized the drivers license but was not sure if the remainder (two id’s shown & the FA license mentioned) were acceptable. Even the branch rep whom I was emailing back & forth did not give any indication that the FA licence would have been acceptable.
Basically, I had the right ID (2 pieces) with me but due to the branch workers not knowing about the firearms license or not communicating that it was an acceptable form of photo ID, I wasted time waiting around only to leave empty handed.

I was 10th in a long line to see a bank consultant, there were 3 people working. I spent 45 minutes waiting for my turn. Horrible! What is the management thinking? In the end, they recommended that I do everything myself on the phone…

Such an irresponsible branch. They cancel the booked appointment without even notifying the customer, and the lady at the reception clearly do not know how to do her job, lack even basic étiquettes communicating to the client.

Visited the branch today. The teller (his name is Hasan) was very rude, he was acting like I owe him money. I don’t know why they even hire people like him? He doesn’t even have a good communication skills, from the beginning until the end, he didn’t say a single polite word like thank you, please, you are welcome. And the way how he looks at you is like he is looking at his enemy or something. He hates what he is doing, and probably also hates his life. This kinda people should not be even placed in teller position. Checked the review of the branch after my visit, I should’ve checked it earlier. I wish I can give 0 star. Before you visit this branch, make sure you expect at least 2 hour wait, they can’t resolve anyone’s banking needs that’s why it takes so long for them to handle each customer.

Why are advisors taking walk-ins from other patrons when I have a scheduled meeting with them? Makes me wait longer than I need to

It will be good if they will hire more people cz of the waiting time

The worst TD branch ever. Which is extremely shameful because TD is such a good bank and employees are generally knowledgeable. But this location no one knows anything, including the manager! Gave me incorrect info and had me call TD customer service to solve my issue. Upon calling them they told me my issue can only be resolved in the branch and a manager should know that. I’m sick of doing back & forth now because of this location’s inept employees & manager.
Edit: I just saw all the terrible reviews about the manager at this location and the staff. I wish I saw these before going here. But TD are you really committed to customer service if a branch manager has such terrible reviews & you’re doing nothing about it?

Nice staff, terrible management. Absolute trash. Blocked all my accounts for 10 days because I asked for a withdrawal limit increase.

When I first went to the branch, everything seemed fine. They welcomed me, opened my account, and things were smooth. The first time I deposited my salary, they held part of it, which I let slide since it was my first deposit. But now? They’ve held my entire salary **again**! They promised it wouldn’t happen, especially since it’s a TD Bank cheque, but they’re holding **every cent**!
The woman who served me today, an Asian woman with shoulder-length hair, dressed in a gray skirt and vest, was **incredibly rude**. She kept giving me sarcastic smiles like it was some kind of joke. And when her manager came over, they had the nerve to tell me I could’ve just used the app or ATM — after I wasted my time waiting in line! This whole experience was beyond frustrating, and I’m absolutely furious with how I’ve been treated. It’s completely unacceptable and disrespectful!

Horrible experience with senior manager Summer, more then once. I don't know why they make it so hard to do business at this branch.

Slowest location ever. So many people but few are working. They move so slow like they have all the time in the world.

When I went to the branch for the first time, I received a good welcome and applied for a credit card. When the credit card arrived, it had been closed. I don’t know why. When I went to them more than once, I waited in line for long periods and asked for someone who spoke Arabic, but unfortunately, they treated me as if I were a beggar and not a customer. Over the course of three days, I went to the branch to solve my problem, but the credit card problem was not solved. I don’t speak English. They say there was an employee who spoke Arabic. I told him, “Please solve the problem for me because there are payments that will be taken from the credit card.” He told me to call this number and gave me a number to call him, while I told him that I don’t speak English. My problem has not been solved to this day, and I don’t know what to do. It was frustrating to open an account in this bank. It was a very bad experience.
