A very shameful place to work at. The children coming to this school have no support system and their parents are being scammed. There's no proper curriculum taught here. There's no structure, and no facilities for the children. The children came to school depressed every day because this school is just a 5 classroom hole in the wall scam building posing as a school. There are much greater private schools in the area with actual facilities such as St Judes Academy or Appleby College. Parents please be weary and do not waste your money. If you love your child, you would not send them here.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I can’t express enough how disappointed I am with Erindale Academy. As a caretaker for a child in a homestay at this school, I was horrified by the lack of basic standards both for students and staff.
First of all, the school pays its teachers less than minimum wage, which is not only unfair, but shocking. Teachers are overworked and underpaid, and they’re expected to give their time without any compensation for overtime, no vacation pay, and no sick days. If a teacher or staff member gets sick, they are threatened with termination instead of receiving the support they need. This is an incredibly toxic and unprofessional work environment, which directly affects the quality of education my child is receiving.
Furthermore, the school has no physical education classes or extracurricular activities to offer students. There are no opportunities for physical activity, sports, or even basic health education. My child is missing out on an important aspect of their development, and I’m deeply concerned about the lack of focus on their overall well-being.
The school is understaffed, with only 4 main teachers and 2 half-day teachers. The guidance counselors are also paid below minimum wage, which is unacceptable when it comes to offering adequate support to students.
The principal is rarely at the school, with hours only from 10 AM to 2 PM. She makes no effort to get to know the students personally or create a positive school environment, unlike in public schools where the principal plays a more active role in the community. This lack of leadership and engagement is disheartening for both students and parents.
It’s incredibly difficult to recommend this school to any parent or guardian looking for a safe, supportive, and well-managed environment for their children. Erindale Academy is not living up to its responsibilities, and my child’s experience here has been nothing short of disappointing. I highly suggest looking elsewhere for a school that will treat both students and staff with the respect and care they deserve.

The Erindale Academy is a school that trains the young talents of the future. We can participate in sports activities and many volunteer activities. As a student, I am very grateful to the teachers for creating opportunities for us. I am proud of the school.

I was a student here 2 years ago. The staffs and teachers here are patient and professional. I got into UofT because of the supports from them.

The place where dreams begin, I am very happy to have gained many good memories at this school and thank my teachers and classmates for all their help. I have gained not only academic knowledge but also a lot of social skills at the same time.
