I had an amazing experience at Dollarama this morning. Emane ( sorry if spelled wrong ) was so friendly, positive, and helpful from the moment I walked in. She offered assistance right away and made the whole experience enjoyable with her great attitude and smile. Customer service like this truly makes a difference. This is the only Dollarama I’ll be coming to from now on. I wish more staff had the same kindness she does

Excellent service from Haneen who was very calm and helpful despite the start of a very busy holiday season. My daughter and I felt her professionalism and deep sense of empathy. She made our day! We will definitely be back and look for her to thank her for her excellent service. She is an example of what good customer service should look like and will go far in the business world. I wish more businesses hired staff with her work ethic and social skills. Thank you!

I was at the store on October 29 at approximately 6:50 p.m., during peak rush hour. At that time, only the self-checkout stations were open, and there was a long line. A security guard was stationed at the door and appeared to stop only one person, a young boy, while allowing others, including myself and my family, to pass without issue.
I noticed that the boy had completed his purchase at the self-checkout next to mine but had forgotten to take his receipt. The security guard stopped him as he was leaving, and he went back to look for the receipt, but it was already gone because another customer had started checking out.
From what I observed, it seemed that the boy was singled out unfairly, possibly because of his race. This made me very uncomfortable and disappointed with how the situation was handled.

Awful store. Barely any employees. Always crowded. Long lines because of self checkout. Dirty and falling apart. Ironically, they’ve hired security to prevent theft instead of just keeping their cashiers. It’s clear the owner of this store only cares about profit and keeping costs as low as possible. I would highly suggest going to another location

I was just accused of stealing for nothing. I was minding my own business looking at earbuds when a lady in her 40s-50s with glasses came up to me and started asking if I put anything in my bag. You guys just lost a customer.

The moment I entered through the front doors of the store, their air conditioning's coolness instantly refreshed me after I entered in on a hot summer day. As walked trying to locate the playing cards in their packed shelves, I realized that I had no clue where the playing cards were.
I then spotted a staff member who kindly guided me in the most helpful way to where the playing card were located. The staff was very knowledgeable about the locations of all the items in the store as they spent no time to tell me where my item was.
I bought 2 packs of playing cards here, totalling $2.85. The quality of these playing cards are top notch. Although there were some items left on the ground and some misplaced items, the store was still very tidy and the shelves were well organized.
Overall, I highly recommend this store, as it has generally low prices compared to other stores.
