I arrived first for an early release of Funko Pops, where the rules clearly state the first person in line gets first pick of any chases. When I asked about a specific chase, the staff falsely claimed it hadn’t arrived. I later found it had been intentionally hidden behind other funko pops that were put upfront to intentionally favour regular customers. Even when the second person in line asked if I’d let them have it, I declined. This is unfair, dishonest, and a blatant disregard for the store’s own rules.

Had an overall weird and bad experience at this store. I was standing in line for what already seemed like too ling seeing as the store was not very busy. When I finally got to a cash I was told they couldn’t serve me with little to no explanation, I then was made to go to the back of the line which I had already been waiting in for, for a few minutes. The person serving at the cash had absolutely no urgency in his transactions and a line was starting to grow as he kept chatting with child customers about his/her/their sexuality which I thought was very unprofessional and overall just strange. So I put my item down and walked out. Will definitely not be returning. Just wanted a deftones t shirt lol

This been is my favourite store for so long.
, the employees there are always so nice , but the experience went downhill today as i met a redhead manager . She is incredibly rude and controlling grown adults from touching the clothes at the level our faces, like i am a toddler who's gonna wreck everything , she tell you that if you need something down to ask her everytime you touch something and seem extremely annoyed at your presence , she seem to be rude and controlling to the employees too.
I'm a very socially anxious person and tought the hot topic was a safe space with all kind of people , rudeness and harassement to clients and employees has no place there .

I've been in multiple times but have never once seen the staff do anything except talk with each other. When you do get a staff member to help you they're rude and unwilling, especially the girl w the red hair. New arrivals are never stocked, it's always the same stale stock they've had for months.

Loved my experience and the variety of items available, employees are kind and match the asthetic well.
Though I'm starting to suspect one of the T-shirts I bought might have an AI generated design... I can't find HT's stance on AI use but I'm not sure I can continue supportingba store that doesn't properly disclose where they source their art!

Great store to look for pop culture-related T-shirts.
It's got everything from anime to cartoons to music like rap, grunge, pop punk and nu-metal. There's something there for everyone.
The two people working there today are also really nice, helpful and welcoming.
Looking forward to shop there again sometime soon!

Stopped carrying Arctic Fox? Hasn't been there in the past like 3 months. What's the point of the Alt store if you can't even buy HAIR DYE there??? Horrible, awful, eroded my trust in this brand entirely.

HT is a fantastic store for all things pop culture. The staff is friendly and always ready to help you find the perfect item (I also love the way they dress, so cool ! )
The store offers a wide variety of band tees, anime merchandise, and unique accessories. The layout is inviting, making it easy to browse. I recently picked up some cool Funko Pops and a new hoodie. While prices can be a bit high at times, the quality and selection are worth it. Highly recommended !

Sometimes a store goes above and beyond so many times, you have to drive point the home of how wonderful the people who work there are. I had the grand delight of being helped by Nat and Hayley and I couldn’t speak their praises enough. It’s always great when you get to vibe with awesome folks. I consistently look forward to coming into this store because everyone is just so cool. I hope you all have comfy pillows, sunny days and plenty of cold water! Thank you for being FANTASTIC!

We had great customer service from whoever worked Tuesday Jan 30th morning, and Thursday Feb 1st morning.However, hot topic quality has dropped quite significantly this past year.The last few Tshirts we bought shrunk, faded, and tore very quickly compared to the ones we have purchased in the past, and now the sizing has changed quite drastically. Where I was buying med/lg skirts/dresses before, an XL wont make it past my thighs now, and I couldnt find anything larger in stock.

Every time I walk into Hot Topic Bayshore, everyone is so dang nice. Each visit is a gem and everyone is always so welcoming and fun to chat with. In fact, I sometimes just enjoy talking to folks more than I do browsing! Today I had the joy of meeting Manager Sean, and he was super helpful with my needs. I will never not go into this store, whether I’m there to buy or not (: what a wide variety of wonderful people.
