Hidden gem! I found out about this place through Ubereats. I was already amazed by the selection they have but I knew that not everything they have to offer would be listed so I had to go there in person. I got a great haul of goodies and some cute plushies! Kenny and Joyce were super kind!! The prices can be a bit much for some items but it's to be expected honestly. We should be grateful that we even get to experience any of the Japanese and Korean culture. I will be going there again in the future! You can count on that! ♡♡♡ ᏊꈍꈊꈍᏊ

I believe this store is one of the best store to get a lot of Japanese products. My Japanese wife cried with surprise many times at the store.They have a lot of individual sweet items from 30cents.Thank you for nice selections!

I love this place! The owners are super nice and very helpful! I have food allergies, so I always need help finding things. Kenny was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. Their website is amazing and very detailed. Thanks for your patience and helping me find my favourite dumplings! They have a fantastic supply of candy that I will investigate on my next trip! I will happily make shopping at Hungry Ninja a regular occurrence.

Everything was amazing. The product were in good condition, the people who worked there or owned the place were so nice and sweet . Even though the price was a little bit too high in my opinion I would definitely come back even if I end up broke.

Very well-stocked little Japanese specialty store. Has a large selection of instant ramens, as well as candy, plushies, collectables, frozen foods, and more. One of my favourite places to go to on Merivale if I need to get Japanese foods nearby. Has a great vibe and is very cute on the inside! Prices are also good in comparison to other Asian groceries.
