Worst Lara ever. Went there with my best friend who is a little bit bigger then me. We we trying on « petite » dresses. Mine fit(size 8). my best friend kindly asked for the next size up (12) the rude employee (a middle age Hispanic woman) looks at her up and down and says « we don’t carry nothing for your size here » my best friend, sad and hurt that her prom dress shopping experience was ruined. Took the dress off told her to be nicer to people and left crying. We then went to another Lara where a lady was kind enough just to tell us that the size we were looking for were sold out since the dress was a last season. Do better. It ruined our days and experience. She ended up getting a dress at another company.

Please ask the lady who works on the plus side to stop asking what size I am every time I enter the store. Her suggestion is that I have no business being there is uncalled for , (I am a size 14 but I like roomy clothes) I have noticed I am not the only one she does this to, It is rude , I am not stupid , I KNOW where I am. If this line of questioning was after I have asked for a certain size , I would understand, but to ask me the minute I walk in is rude.

I went to Laura's to find a petite dress for my brother's wedding. After choosing 2 dresses a nice . sales lady named Maritza kindly took them off my hands and started a changeroom. She then checked to see how they fit. I told her I would be looking for others, but she took it upon herself to find 4 other dresses for me to try I ended up buying one that she chose and am very happy. I will be shopping there again. Thank you!

Love the staff!! Always so helpful and proactive with greetings and getting a changing room set up as soon as I'm carrying around more than one item. I always feel well taken care of.I find it very hard to find clothing as someone who is 5'1", so Laura Petites is great and affordable. Especially for faux leather and seude jackets!! It's hard to get those tailored for petite bodies lol.Thanks for thinking about the little guys ?

I shop as often as I can at Laura, and find the staff are friendly and very efficient, always trying to help if need be, and make my shopping experience a very pleasant one, and look forward to my next visit. I love everything the store offers, and find it hard to pick one particular item because everything is so very special. Thank you for having such a wonderful and varied array of clothing to choose from.

Everything about the store is young and white. Laura, the average Canadian woman is neither young nor white. You need far more diversity in your ads in particular.

Many of the reviews on here are reviews about the Laura Secord chocolate/ ice cream store.I am actually giving a review about the women’s clothing store (Laura Petite) at Bayshore. Went in today specifically at Bayshore because I did pre-shopping online and had selected 2 navy blue dresses for my mother’s funeral. Laura website said they were both available at this location.I was never able to get assistance. The woman at the cash register ignored me. At which point another employee came around the cash and asked me if I needed something. I explained to him that I came in to see 2 dresses and showed him the screenshots. He asked the other women to help me. She pretended to go to the computer. As soon as he walked away she told me she had “things” to do (sealing an envelope). I figured I could search the store myself. I had pretty much finished going through the store when another employee asked me if I needed to try something (I had nothing in my hands) and so I showed her my screenshots of the 2 dresses. She said she didn’t know if they had them even if it said they were available. I asked if it would be possible to look in the system and she boldly answered “no, we don’t do that”! I decided to just get out and stop wasting my time. The staff very obviously don’t wish to be working there, or at all.

This is for Laura the clothing store. All three of there stores were completely empty. I asked if I could use the change room to breast feed my crying newborn. The associate asked her manager and her manager said no. Very disappointing. Will never be shopping here again.

Was told to try a size at home by paying now and getting it shipped. No problem for return. Liars. "looks worn" yeah that's how trying on something works. Manager was no help either. Contacting them directly
