Unfortunately i cant give this store a good or even marginal score. !!This is my neighbourhood LCBO. For a small store ( which it is , pretty darn small) The selection: really good ! And they have all the usuals, kim crawford sauvginon blanc , happy daddy etc
They also have alot of niche products so if you’re looking for something a little unique you’ll probably find it! Staff are generally friendly, parking is good. Generally could be a GREAT little store…BUT ITS NOT ‼️ ive been going there a long time! Today is Christmas eve so busy , right? I walk in get my usual and then … THE LINE UP SITUATION! This store is notorious for a ridiculous cue system;one of the few that makes you cue up in one long line, behind the stock shelves which are 6 and half feet high. So cashiers often cant see how long the line actually gets. At peak times the line can be 20 people long before the “ manager “ notices. So you may have to wait Unfortunately some cashiers just dont care about the cue and ring whoever gets there first( because they cant possibly check the line and ring product in at the same time 🙄and leave it up to the customers to “ direct the LCBO traffic “ let people know “ Hey theres a cue here” which is not very good tbh. Some folks can and do get angry, especially if it’s busy. Unfortunately the manager is not open to any suggestions or feedback from loyal customers. Which is kinda sad for him , for the staff who have to work for him ( i mean if hes rude to the public who just want to make a suggestion then how does he treat his staff? ) Overall if i had a choice i wouldnt go here, the certain items I’m looking for are not always available here, so i have to travel. Seems ive been to almost every lcbo in ottawa ( maybe thats a bad thing🤷♀️) some of them have the sweetest staff,( the little store near Pretoria , the manager is so kind) i mean we’re all people trying to get by… Right? I have no idea why this store sells all kinds of Gin in the "airport duty-free size quantities" over a liter? Who decides that? A manager? Where are 0.375 and 0.75 bottles?

Great selection of Scotch, always have something new and interesting. If you enjoy wine, ask for Rob he's got a great palate for good wine.... The only thing i could asl for would be to boost their french selection.

Small location but willing to bring in items that are frequently requested. Staff has long tenure and are very friendly and knowledgable.

I came here this afternoon and had the best experience I’ve ever had at an LCBO store. I was greeted with a friendly hello when I entered the store by a lovely staff member which is literally UNHEARD OF at any LCBO unless you are in a small town or are a frequent flyer and know the staff. I then went through the cash with a second staff member, another lovely gentleman, and he was friendly, made meaningful small talk and was very kind. It felt like an authentic small town shop experience. Needless to say, these staff members truly went above and beyond and all it took was a bit of extra kindness on their part. They didn’t need to do that. Customer service is exhausting at times. But they did and it really stood out to me in this fishbowl world where many encounters occur as if two ships passed in the dark of night. Thank you, to the guys who were working this afternoon. You made my day.
