The experience at this branch was a rollercoaster. The young lady who helped me was fantastic—she went above and beyond. But the rest of my visit was ruined by a rude male employee. I couldn’t find an associate for five minutes, so I went to the cashier, only to have this guy ignore me completely. After serving the people behind me, he shouted, “If you want to ask a question, go wait in line!” I was already standing there!
It felt discriminatory, as he wasn’t rude to the white customers. I even thought about calling the cops because his behavior seemed racist, but I didn’t have the time. I finally managed to get some help from the young lady after I called the store to talk to a manager.
Just when I thought it was over, the same rude employee came back while I was trying different boots and started taking away the ones I was deciding between. When I asked him to stop, he mockingly asked, “You want all of them?” I wanted to walk out, but the young lady’s excellent service convinced me to finish my purchase.
I won’t be coming back here. The lady deserves a raise, but that man needs a lesson in customer service… or better yet, a new job.

Disappointed in the limited selection of shoe sizes. poorly organized and inventory not matching what's shown online. the smaller marks stores are actually better.

A clothing store that closes at 6 pm! People have work. Not everyone can go shopping before 6 pm.

I often find Mark's carry a premium for their clothing, there was a decent variety of items but for items on the lower end of the price range the Canadian Tire in the same lot had more choices

Nice store ? went there on a weekend no help from the employees they were to busy drinking there coffee at checkout , while 1 sole employee was working . ? anyway still found what I was looking for !!!

I have received great service here before. However, today Christine told me I couldn’t request a simple receipt reprint due to store policy. I mentioned I had it done at another location recently, but she still said it couldn't be done. Only as I was about to leave did she mention that as a triangle card holder, she could do it. She should have said that from the beginning to save us both the hassle. Do bettet.

I give this a 4/5 for the following reasons: 1. I can bring a backpack purse into the store which is simpler as I use a cane 2. I can bring a cloth tote bag into the store which is for my purchases 3. they have a washroom easily accessible (important for bus or pedestrian shoppers) 4. they have HUMAN cashiers 5. they do not presume that everyone is a shoplifter like their cousin store Canadian tire (which says they have the right to examine bags and backpacks [what about large purses or shoulder bags?]). I buy socks, hats and mitts here periodically. 5. there are no vagrants begging for money for illegal drugs outside which scares seniors.

The assumption is Marks Work Warehouse is top quality, expensive but you get a great product. That is total bull droppings. Bought a $90+ tax carhardt work pants and within 1 year they ripped. The fascinating thing is I was not hard on them at all! I went to walmart and bought Rustler work pants identical just lighter material, for $25+tax and they lasted longer, truly amazing! Save your hard earned money and be wise. From now on, Walmart, Winners and a few thrift stores are my go to.
