I went last night for the second time in about 2 months. I was shocked when I heard the price had gone up $20 for a one-hour massage. I had booked another massage, but cancelled due to price increase. It went for $110 to $130. Too bad as I liked my RMT Rex.

The receptionist is extremely rude. I called thrice, she just asked me to hold and didn’t answer and kept me waiting. Later I called and she didn’t pick. If you are running a business and taking people’ money, learn to provide a good customer service unless you don’t value customers (which we can clearly see)

Booked my first appointment and took the day off of work to attend it. When I arrived, I was told that the appointment was cancelled, even though I had confirmed the appointment 2 days prior. I was not given any notice of cancellation at any point. The receptionist was rude and said that there is no”nothing she can do”. Lack of communication for booking cancellations, lack of customer service skills, and lack of empathy when a mistake is made by them. Terrible choice for a massage overall. You’re much better off booking anywhere else. Literally anywhere.

The Massage Addict have qualified therapist but the organization as a whole is lacking. Poor understanding of who is on staff and the front desk lacks a professional understanding of the client.
The fact that a client is charged for a service that was cancelled by the company itself just four hours before the scheduled appointment is disgusting. I will full fill my obligation for the contract of six months and get out. Very disappointed.
Client beware!
Look elsewhere for a reputable organization.

Last minute cancellations is the norm for the customer. If the customer cancels, we pay full price. Trying to book multiple sessions is a nightmare. The place is not run very well and wished they pay for when they cancel on you last minute. I even confirmed the daybefore. So my day is shot and found a new massage place where the customer experience is far better. They also gave me someome elses invoice upon leaving with all sorts of sensitive information. The management / scheduling staff is unorganized and seemling unable to work the staff scheduling.

Massage was awful. I explained to her before what kind of massage I want. She was just pinching and just caressing. She focus one of feet and spent almost 10 minutes and other feet just 3 minutes. One point I thought she was taking a nap when she was massaging. It was very bad experience and never again
Update:
I received email from Massage Addict on June 11, 2024 saying:
“ I am sorry to hear about your recent experience at the Ottawa Barrhaven location. I have informed the Clinic Owners, and they will be in touch with you regarding your concerns, and someone will be in touch with you within 24-72 hours.”
Today still waiting for explanation and NOBODY call me.

Twice had to cancel cause error by their staff.I will not be rebooking quite upset I have lower back and leg problems other issues and was looking forward to my massage would not reccommend.
