Was looking for a simple granite countertop for a kitchen addition and cast a wide net with eight quotes. Ottawa Granite Pro came out on top primarily due to their customer service.
While we didn't get an exact match of what we wanted, what we did receive looks perfect and it was priced very competitively.
Raegan manning the phones/inbox was responsive and easy to deal with; the installers were fast, friendly and shared their knowledge; Guinka the owner was very helpful when we came down to making a final choice.
Highly recommend, definitely got the feeling that was truly a family business and in turn, WANTED my business.
On that note, here's a few others I tried to work with, but failed, and ultimately would not recommend for those shopping around:
Mountain Granite (no responses despite multiple attempts)
Kanata Stoneworks (responsive but triple the price)
Masterpiece Granite (no responses despite multiple attempts)
Urban Stone Surfaces (no responses to emails or phone calls)
Planet Granite (stopped responding after the first inquiry)
Kanata Granite (lack of responses and professionalism)

Went with Ottawa Granite Pro after a recommendation of our contractor and we're super happy. Pricing was very fair, they were very patient and information during the entire process. Measurements were done very carefully, with lots of time taken to discuss exactly how it would fit to make sure we were going to be completely satisfied.
We asked if they could install as quickly as reasonably possible and they came through - which means the rest of the project wasn't waiting on the counters.
I'm giving 5 stars only because I can't give 10! Wouldn't hesitate to go back or recommend.

Absolutely fantastic service from Ottawa Granite Pro from start to finish. We are delighted with our quartz countertops & the waterfall edges just finish off our kitchen perfectly. From front end office staff, Nick coming to measure & also taking the time to do a revisit to meet with our cabinet guy & the final install, we cannot say enough about the service we received. Highly recommend this family business

I will never use or recommend this company! They were the subcontractor for my kitchen renovation and I had an awful experience! The day of install the crew was late so I called just to get an ETA as I was due back at work. The older woman there refused to check where the crew was and began lecturing me to the effect of “ young girls my age should learn patience”. It took all the patience I had not to gross her out on the phone. No matter my age or gender… my money is still green! Also all customers are owed a basic level of respect regardless of whether or not this woman thinks their age merits it! I have warned all my “young” new homer owner friends to avoid this place at all costs. Plus, lots of hidden charges.

We went to the store as we had delt with them before. The front staff were great . We had to go to a granite supplier which was close by. We picked out our granite. We needed 100 sq ft. We were told it would be $200.00 travel fee and quickly agreed. We kept trying to make arrangements for installation over and over again with no reply. We finally went to Cataraqui Granite in Kingston and were very happy

I have used Ottawa Granite Pro personally three times and have been thrilled with their work each and every time. When spending as much money as you do on a kitchen, I was hesitant to just pick a company out of thin air but with so many choices out there, that's what I had to do two years ago. I'm happy I chose OGP. I'm a realtor and refer clients to OGP often and everyone is very happy.They're great to work with, have fair prices and work in tight timelines. It's a family owned and operated business too.Here's a photo of their seams joining two pieces together. Can you tell where it is?

We couldn’t be happier with our entire experience with Ottawa Granite Pro. Everyone we dealt with from beginning to end was friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous, from selecting the slab to measurements to installation and billing. We would use them again without hesitation.

I called about a job …. Told to hold then they just hang up …..My husband went to their location to talk to them about the job and look at the stone but was ignored ….. he said hi….perhaps she think he dresses too poorlyWe went mainly due to a glowing referral ….. the service we received is nothing short of rude

Rude rude rude the old women is super rude. How do you run a business like this? Very confrontational and threatening.why? Paying 2-3 days after the job because I would rather pay in person . I also had family emergency. Spending a few days in the hospital is not good excuse for her. She demanded I pay immediately (the other 50%) Apparently I’m too poor to pay. Being accused of not paying just 2-3 days after the job ( due to family emergency) is outrageous. Received verbal abuse when explaining to her. The installers were a bit moody too.. although the more experienced of the two did a good job.. They have some good people but the female owner is just. outrageous and super rude if you enjoy being threatened and rude customer service by all means! A good product doesn’t justify rude, threatening and verbal abuse! Up to you. See attached photos of their work.. good price but not up to my standards…

From the beginning to end, the service provided by Ottawa Granite Pro was highly professional, timely and with great attention to details. During the initial process of choosing the type and colour of our countertops, Nick and Peter guided us with patience and advice, customized to our needs. The measurements were taken extremely accurate and professional with consideration of our preferences, type and installation specifics of the appliances and countertops. And then, the installation was completed earlier than expected, very professional, with attention to details, clean and with consideration of all Covid measurements. We even received great ideas and recommendations for maintenance and cleaning. I can only say the best for the whole team and warmly recommend their services. Thank you!

I highly recommend Granite Pro. I had started kitchen renos just before COVID and when the city went into lockdown, they were extremely accommodating holding our slab of granite for months without any hidden fees or extra costs. They were helpful with any questions and were quite honest with their advice. Extremely professional, honest, competitively priced and excellent work product. From beginning to end your experience with them will be reassuring and positive.
