Absolute shady snakes! Phoned my employer, lied saying it’s not a marketing call, my employer calls me in an urgent rush thinking it’s important…nope, it’s just their shady business practice trying to sell products and services: “we happened to come across your profile (no you didn’t, you’re going through your leads warm calling existing clients) and have some ways we can save you money (sell you a product where we can make some commission)”. When did I give you permission to phone my employer?!? I didn’t apply for a mortgage or anything where I have given you that permission. I get these sales pitches through emails from them all the time, but never had these snakes grew balls this big to phone my employer, all in the name of making a buck! Absolutely unbelievable! So shady! To lie and say it’s not a marketing call, when it blatantly is…and to phone someone employer…so unprofessional. I’m have several products with these guys but I will be changing them all as soon as possible! I will not condone such ethics. Pretending like they are trying to help clients, when in reality they are just trying to sell a mutual fund.

Zero stars.only because the receptionist at the front desk was so rude without any reason. If somebody has a quick question, just answer it and let go. You dont have to make weird faces or be rude. Other employees at the desk are really sweet. Stop working in customer service!!!!!!!!

Apart from every bank in Canada, Scotia Bank is my favourite. Talking about the service, transaction everything’s better way more better than compared to other bank. I have my account at McLeod square. Talking about this branch perhaps it has the best service for its customer every people here are very friendly, Environment is very clean and good, Front desk staffs are very cooperative and everything is good. If you are thinking about opening a bank account here in Canada than Scotia Bank would be the best one and if you are in Niagara Falls than McLeod Square i recommend!

Recently had a regrettable encounter with Scotia Bank that provided an abysmal level of customer service. It is disheartening to recount my experience, but I feel it is necessary to warn others.Beware and remember, there are better and prfosdional banks out there.

Worst branch everSuper slow new attendants and the old ones are nasty and unpleasant,Being self employed I usually deposit any cheques with either my name or my company name with no issues.I walked in to deposit 2 cheques, one of them is on my name the other has my company name that I own.They refused to cash my company one because they are bushing me to open a business account with them that I do not want.I did not want to make a seen and took both cheques to my branch who always took all my chequesShame on you scotiabank for having just a horrible female version of Mr. BurnWill never return to your branch and will file a complaint to your head officeFigures why you are at 3.5 star instead of 5

Slow, the tellier told me wait for 5 minutes but it lasted for almost an hour! Would have been respectful to let thecustomer know that an appointment is needed rather than a long wait. Not really worth even one star sorry!
