“Our wedding at The Gate House on June 20th was everything we dreamed of and more — thanks to the incredible team at 124 on Queen Hotel & Spa, Treadwell Cuisine, and our coordinator Melanie.
Melanie was a joy to work with — responsive, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. She guided us through every step with calm professionalism, helped bring our vision to life, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly on the big day.
The venue itself was absolutely stunning — elegant, intimate, and perfectly located in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake.
And the food by Treadwell Cuisine was unbelievable. Every bite was delicious and beautifully plated. From cocktail hour canapés to the late-night bites, it was flawless.
Thank you to the entire team for making our wedding unforgettable. We feel so lucky to have celebrated in such a beautiful space, surrounded by such talented and kind professionals.

“I was at Club Belvedere for a wedding reception on Saturday. I’m 60 years old and I have to say that’s it’s the best food I’ve had at a wedding. The salmon was high end restaurant quality. It was fresh not frozen, a huge portion and cooked perfectly. My friends had the chicken breast and again a nice portion and juicy, not dried out. The sides of rice and vegetables were delicious. It tasted home cooked. The bar was well done and served a wide variety of cocktails. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Everything was on time.(The wait staff REALLY ought to be using trays. It would be so much easier for serving and cleaning up.) All in all they do a great job and provide value for your money.”

“This is a large, beautiful, elegant hall perfect for hosting any occasion. There are lots of bathrooms, a bar/cocktail area, and a huge parking lot. Building and parking lot is wheelchair accessible.”

“The Legion is my favorite place for Fish & Chips. They serve F&C every Thursday from 4-7pm and it never disappoints. The volunteers do such a great job. It's a casual and laid back environment. Very reasonable prices.”
