ALLISON THE BOOKMAN is a great indie bookstore with a lengthy history and a real huge choice of books. It is well organized, with a wonderful selection of titles, including sci-fi/fantasy right at the door, some books in perfect shape, and even new releases. The kind and caring family who owns the store provides friendly, helpful service. They will find any book you’re looking for, take orders, and have an online store for enquiries. They also host book signings, feature events on Facebook, and offer a loyalty program and store credit for used books. It is a much-beloved, firm favourite for browsing.
Awesome prices, and different variety’s of books, I love the old feeing to it!

Didn't have time to explore fully, but the Scifi/ Fantasy is right at the door, easy to find. Good selection, some books in perfect shape. Occasionally high prices for a used book store and surprising to see new releases as well.
