“My car wouldn’t start when I went to leave my brothers grocery store (he’s store manager at independent grocers). I had to walk home as I didn’t have my phone.I called ROADSIDE assistance who advised that LeTowing would be coming.ROADSIDE said they advised Le Towing to give us a call 20-25min in advance as I was 5-10min away.I got a call from the towing guy saying he was leaving because I wasn’t there. No hi, how r u… I said Roadside said u were to give us 20min heads up.He rudely responded “read ur contract!”.I said what?!?! Contract?!? I simply called Roadside who advised you to call us when u were coming. He then said u have to be here, we don’t take instructions etc and he was leaving.I said plz don’t. I’ll rush and be there in 4-5min.He waited. BUT, again told me it was my fault when I explained it was roadside. Then said what if u were taking up a spot on the highway! I said I’m at my brothers parking lot!?!!I called roadside back who apologized to me and said it was on file that LeTowing was to call me and they would file a complaint.I was so upset I had my 83 yr old father meet them at Canadian Tire. I will say that my father said he was treated nicely as he dropped it off. That’s why 2 stars and not 1.If u don’t take instructions, take it up with roadside. Don’t raise ur voice.I was contacted by the Owner who was EXTREMELY nice. We had a great conversation and I will give them a 2nd chance for sure. Very impressed with the apology and how it was handled.Upping my rating to a 4 from 2.”

“I live out of town and was in North Bay for the day. I put stuff in my trunk then went to shut it but It would not latch. 15 minutes before they closed they were kind enough to look at my car and do what they could to get it to close so I could get home safely. Amazing staff and mechanics.”
