Drove all the way here, and the atm was not in service.. had to pay the service fee to use another bank. It shouldn't cost the customer when the service is down. Reimbursement?Further there's been occasions when my debit charge was declined while having sufficient funds in place... Very inconvenient and embarrassing.What is the plan to fix this?

Fabulous service! I never have to wait to get a 'Hello'. Always a warm and friendly welcome. The staff really cares about customer service.

Representative won’t say hi or acknowledge you they are texting and on there phones all the time no professionalism and they eat lunch at there desks when they should be in the back never been to a bank that allows food and texting before customer service!! I rather keep my money under my bed there service is sooo poor!

Horrible bank. Opened a regular chequings account and they told me they have no debit cards. What kind of bank doesn't have debit cards for their clients, especially when they knew I was coming. They should've had a debit card. Now I have to go in person to get money, can't even use an ATM. Now day 2 the app won't let me put in my password to access my online banking,I called and they were of no help,still can't access my account. Horrible experience. I'm withdrawing all my money tomorrow and going somewhere else. Trust me don't use this bank, you'll regret it

I had to do a transfer for ownership for a business bank account and this branch and bank in general has to be the least professional, knowledgeable or organized. I spoke to 5 people on the phone before I made an appointment in-person and I even spoke to the person I had an appointment with before i went and they still didn't tell me the correct documents to bring. When I finally got the documents and brought them, the bank said I would receive an email with directions to set up my online banking by the end of the day and a week later I still had received nothing. When I called the bank and spoke with the person I had an appointment with the week prior she didn't even acknowledge her lack of follow-through and when the information she gave me didn't work and I called back to get more help and she eventually hung up on me.Avoid this bank at all costs and go anywhere else. There is a BMO on campus just down the hallway.

Thank you to Deepika and Rani for helping us open our account for our new community organization! I have been a personal member of Alterna Savings Credit Union since it was called Metro Credit Union and I have always found the staff friendly and very helpful. You won't get this kind of service with a bank!

Can totally confirm the discrimination reviews. Granted my experience was from a few years ago but it has always remained with me. I hope they’ve gotten better.

Alterna Savings Credit Union is very supportive of student groups. It was easy to create an account and we'd rather be banking with a credit union than a bank! For those that don't know credit unions are owned by us as members rather than rich people.

This credit union discriminates against people based on race. I opened a bank account with Maryiam Ahmad and left without online access and she did not give me my direct deposit details. When I called in to her office she said "I did not request it" and stated that is the reason why she did not provide it.
