Refused Balancing good tires.Firstly, it was alarming to discover that the staff, including the manager, seemed oblivious to basic tire safety standards. I was shocked to find that they were not aware of the fact that winter tires have specific different markers for winter performance and safety. This lack of knowledge raises serious concerns about the competency of the personnel responsible for handling such crucial aspects of vehicle safety. Moreover, my frustration escalated when the employees, under the direction of Michael, refused to balance my tires. Despite the tires having a 5mm tread, they insisted on measuring the tread by the sidewall, displaying a clear lack of understanding of tire maintenance. This oversight not only showcases their lack of professionalism but also raises concerns about the safety of the services provided at Costco Tire Centre. To make matters worse, the team attempted an unwarranted up-sell by pushing for a new set of tires, completely disregarding the service report I had from Toyota. According to Toyota's assessment, my current tires were deemed suitable for another season and met provincial safety standards. It was disheartening to witness the blatant disregard for the customer's best interest and the unnecessary pressure to spend on an unneeded service. In conclusion, my experience at Costco Tire Centre was nothing short of frustrating and concerning. I hope this review serves as a wakeup call for the management to address the evident lack of knowledge and professionalism among their staff. I expected much more from a reputable establishment like Costco, and I sincerely hope that improvements are made to ensure the safety and satisfaction of future customers.

I recently purchased my winter tires from them. They did a good job. They also put the old tires in a plastic wrap and put it in the car. The only problem with this place is that they are too busy and they don’t have enough staff for instance, they never answered the phones, and most of the time there’s a lineup when you want to talk to the front desk I’m getting information. The work was done adequately, and in a timely manner. The staff I interacted with were very helpful, but obviously very busy and under a little bit of stress. They communicated with me when they had questions and the tires were replaced within the time period they initially stated.

I love Costco. Long after REI decided to stop standing behind their products, Costco still does. They're one of the few retailers that has lifetime returns for non-electronics. It's saved my bacon on a few things over the years that you expect to have a long life but sometimes don't. Example: I bought a e-mower and trimmer (~$750) in Spring of 2022. In Summer of 2023, the dual battery stopped auto-switching. Were it any other retailer, I'd have to deal with the inconvenience of swapping batteries manually, or the hassle of shipping it for repair (4 year warranty). Costco lets me return it. I may wait for summer, when they carry replacements. I also love how they stand behind certain principles (refusal to raise the price on rotisserie or hot dog and drink). I don't even buy these items, but for a profit-driven corporation, it's a rare breath of fresh air. I wish they had a better mobile/web experience, but that's part of their strategy to increase foot traffic. I disagree with it but not enough to stop going. After 12 years of membership, I still learn of new services they offer. For example, in the past month I've learned they have free self service automatic tire air (and it's Nitrogen!). The inflators aren't perfect, but the service people nearby will help if the machines fail. They also offer discounted travel insurance. Also, I love their pizza compared to any frozen or most delivery places. $10 lasts for 4-5 meals.

I have been using Costco tire center for 4 years. However I get really upset this time. All my tires have been preserved in plastic storage bags, and these bags remain in good condition in the last 8 tries services. But for this time, all these 4 bags have been torn off just because the workers are too lazy to unwrap them. The even worse part is they hide the rip at back so that I wouldn't be aware until I got home!!!

Food was excellent. We made a reservation, but the restaurant was busy, so had to wait until a table was freed up. Given how busy the restaurant was, the service was ok.We certainly will go there again.

The pepperoni pizza is the best at this Wilson Dufferin location! The pizza at Warden Ellesmere location is sloppy with how they add their pepperoni.I went just before lunch on a Saturday and service was slow because it was so busy. And always loved Costco polish sausage which is still $1.50 deal with drink!

If you need to go to a Costco... This will suffice. The products are all there and the layout is the same as any other Canadian Costco. The staff are efficient and good at their jobs. The pierogies guy was especially nice and gave us good recommendations. HOWEVER don't eat here. When you get to the food section, it is chaos. There are 3 condiments (ketchup, mustard, and relish) that are not refilled or maintained. Sort of falling apart. The lids for the drinks were missing. And I'm pretty sure I got some kind of food poisoning from the hotdog. There's hardly any seating compared to the volume of people this location serves, and you have to ask for honey mustard if you want it for your chicken tenders. You can really tell Costco is trying to cut costs.

Decent selection, rude employees The good: it's Costco. There are samples. There are large sizes. There are things you need and things you don't, but it's fun to shop. It's a spectacle and there are some good prices and unique products. The so so: The selection at this Costco is okay, but I've seen better at other Toronto locations (Queensway). The crowds are dense and lines are long- even on Tuesday at 11am. However, the cashiers are efficient and lines move quickly. The bad: the employees at this locations are rude. They will snap at you for misunderstanding directions. Instead of saying 'could you please do x', they will say 'do x'. Their requests are often understandable and reasonable, but their conveyance is not. Like Costco. Wish I had a better location closer to home.

Bad customer experience here. Not on the staff though Management/Supervisor ensure reviews stay low and a good loss of business.

Bad customer service. Especially Nataly woman. Didn’t called me after the tire service was done. If you took my payment you have to call me once the service is done. When I went back, the key and the paper were sitting there. She claimed I am wasting her time as well. Dealing with me (customer) is what you get paid for. Very unprofessional. I’ll cancel my Costco card, Mastercard, and discontinue using such service. I was with Costco for car services , but if services is like this I have no regret cutting ties with Costco. Thank you for showing true colours sooner.
