This store carries a wide range of quality merchandise, and is conveniently located near the 400 & 401. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. As a repeat customer, I definitely recommend this DOT store to shoppers seeking assorted patio furniture and related utility items and accessories.

I bought a gorgeous cast aluminum patio set over 20 years ago from dot. It's great as rust free goes, but over time the powder paint coating will flake off if you leave it outdoors...which, unfortunately I did over the years.I suspected you could try to find a vendor to strip and refinish the set, so I decided to stop in at this dot while I was in the area to find out for sure. I was not disappointed by the knowledge and helpfulness of the staff here to answer my question, because she previously worked in such a place and I got the benefit of her previous work experience. Thank you, dot, for hiring people who really have the background for the job.I decided to have fun browsing the store as it's the end of summer and this clearance outlet has plenty to offer. I wound up creating a set of outdoor placemats over 20 years of having the patio set...yeah lol. I had to create a combination of 3 styles to get 8 placemats, but boy was I rewarded when I went to the cash to ring up.100% recommend checking this franchise out if you're investigating outdoor furniture options. I was 100% happy 20 years ago, and I'm still 100% happy shopping here today.

Great spot to pick up your patio/furniture needs - we were able to swing by and pick up a whole setup for our backyard for cheaper than we were quoted for partial pieces from other suppliers - final sale only, but great/knowledgeable staff, clearly looking to help you through your process, on your terms.Shoutout to Boris for the help - thank you kindly, as more needs arise, we will be back.

This review is directed at who ever is in charge of customer service regarding warranty and customer service. I spent $3500 on a patio set at the Dufferin location.One of our Linear Side Chairs back brace snapped when a friend leaned against the back of the chair. It was under a year old and used seasonally.They would not replace the chair or repair the chair under warranty because i was told that this was not a manufacturer defect.To me this defines a manufacturer defect. A chair is meant to be sat in and if it breaks when you sit in it there must be something wrong with it.If something like this is not covered then I'm assuming that they do not take any responsibility for their products.I would have been happy if they covered the repair of the chair. A replacement was not necessary. But they did not.It blows my mind why you would frustrate and anger a customer, who spent a lot of money at your store, over a $75 repair. So d**** A very frustrating experience.Think twice before you buy DOT furniture.

Great home decor clearance store - a wealth of exquisite items at prices which frankly seem unreal! Also, exceptional customer service offered by Christian! His keen eye for detail, sense of style and competent advice helped me make purchases I am completely satisfied with. I highly recommend.

Had a truly excellent customer service experience at the DOT Weston Rd store recently. My wife and I went there after going to several other stores looking for a new patio set in June. We were helped by Malcolm who went above and beyond trying to find us exactly what we needed and we came away with a new table, chairs and umbrella with base all of which was at a competitive or lower price than other stores and perfectly met our needs. Despite only working in the store for a year he was exceptionally knowledgeable and truly a pleasure to deal with. After a month we had a problem with the umbrella. The manager Daniel dealt with it immediately. Rare to get service like this any where!!!

What a disappointment. We bought a patio set from Daniel the manager of the store for over $3000. I picked it up and brought it home. Opened it up and it was not the same finish as in the show room. Took it back and Daniel’s explanation was that people have sat in the chairs in the show room and have rubbed there hands on the table which has resulted in the show room finish. I then went to head office and explained the situation. There response was that is not the case. I picked up the furniture and returned the defective product back to Daniel on my dime. He would not compensate me for the gas but was ready to charge me for delivery. All I heard was I cannot do anything. We decided to go to the Mississauga Store. WHAT A DIFFERENCE,!!!!!!! Micheal is the manager there. He listened and understood our our concerns, He moved chairs around to find the right fit and finish and ensure that their were no defects. He would not stop until he knew that we were satisfied. To the management at dot thank you for your support and understanding. Based on my experience with Daniel he needs a lot of customer training. May I suggest that Micheal become his mentor. As for those shopping at dot go see Micheal and don’t go to the Weston Rd store that Daniel manages. Please note I gave a one star for Daniel only not dot as a company. As for Micheal he gets a five.

Daniel was more than accommodating and supportive in assisting me with my enquiries.He was very patient and extremely knowledgeable about the store’s products.The other negative comment about Daniel was far from true.Thanks Daniel you have a customer for life!!Samantha

Excellent service after a very different (unpleasant) experience three-ish years ago. Daniel and the other sales clerk were exceptionally helpful and engaging. We're also pleased with our purchases. Many items offered at good value. Highly recommend revisiting this store if you, like me, had a previous bad visit. Much has changed.

still quite pricey and very little in the store at this time in June. I have been here later in Aug. when more items come in from other stores. I will be back to get and see what I want. Sales clerk was excellent in helping me pick out an umbrella that replaced the one that got destroyed in that last horrific storm.

I purchased as New York style patio set at dot furniture Weston rd and 401 approximately a month and a half ago. I spent approximately 4 hrs in the store taking my time to talk to my sales rep Malcolm and the young man he was training. Malcolm was very polite, helpful and knowledgeable. We discussed the product, cushion and what came with the set in great details. At some point during my shopping experience Malcolm mentioned that the 2 head table chairs were slightly different, I examined them closely and noted the difference in the back/arm of the chairs, I determined this was not an issue and I would still purchase the set. No other mention of mismatch chairs were mentioned. After speaking with Malcolm and receiving all the information I thought was relevant to to the products, table, chairs and umbrella/ base.My husband and I decided we would purchase the set. This was when the manager Daniel was involved we discussed possibly discounting the set as it was a floor model and the 2 head table chairs were slightly different. Daniel was not able to assist with the discount. We also purchased table mats, a cover for the patio, the grand total being almost 6,000 dollars.Daniel was in the store showing another couple a patio set he was extremely loud and obnoxious to the point where an older gentleman who worked in the store asked him to speak in a lower tone voice when speaking to him, because he prefer to be spoken to calmly and quietly and not the entire store to hear when he is communicating with him. Daniel did mention he talked loudly. I paid for my items and set a delivery date, also paying for a delivery day.My delivery date came and everything went smoothly with the 2 gentlemen who did our delivery they were polite and respectful as per my husband because I was not home. The problem stared when we unfolded the boxes and noted our chairs were not on the same level, some were taller than others, the base of the umbrella did not have the appropriate pieces and the chairs were missing chair stoppers for some of the chairs.I had a dinner party scheduled for that long weekend and so I called the store and spoke with Daniel to tell him about the missing items as well as the chairs being on different levels. Daniel wanted me to drive to the store to pick up the parts that was missing. I explained that this should not be my doing and provided him with the option of couriering the items to me. He refused stating he could send the items to a store 20 km from where I live. I refused because he would not grantee I would receive the items in time for my dinner part. I also communicate with Daniel about the issues with the chairs he proceeded to talk over me not allowing me to speak telling me the levels of the chair was discussed. I explained that he was not present during my conversation with Malcolm the sales person so how could he make such a statement. He proceeded to continue to speak over me. So at this point I asked him to stop and requested his managers number, he informed me she did not have a number just an email. I asked him to please provide me with the email then he was condescending stating I will speak slowly and proceed to be obnoxious. I contacted the manager Jenna who did not respond to any of my original email threads until after the suggestion made by customers service to have my set delivered back to the store with me paying a 20% restocking fee and my deliver feed would be no refundable. This was the most awful customer service or lack thereof. Jena and Daniel are not fit to manage cattle, they lack compassion, compromise or the simple ability to communicate. I feel sorry for the staff under their management.

My husband and I visited this DOT Furniture looking to furnish our newly renovated backyard. It was quite overwhelming not knowing where to start! We worked with Malcolm at this location - who spent hours with us helping to coordinate various furniture options and give us a feel for what might work in our backyard. We ended up with the most beautiful final setup! And have gone back a few times (maybe 3) to add to our collection. The care and personal touch really helped with this purchase decision. We are thankful to Malcom and Daniel for the time they spent with us; even responding to our calls and emails promptly with questions after purchase. Best experience!!!
