“I have just moved to North York, and walking distance to Leo's market. It's a beautiful, European style little market but provides everything from gelato icecream to fresh sandwiches, salads and hot, delicious food to satisfy all diverse tastes ? It's also a wonderful place for cakes and cookies and delectable pastries! My delight was finding fresh vegetables and fruits, and a variety of breads with a deli and fresh fish, chicken and other meats, and so much more! All the people who work there are friendly and super helpful. I recommend that you visit Marcheleo's Market and you'll be tempted to shop there everyday!”

“Small but very good market with butchers and vegetables and fruit. They also have prepared food that I didn’t try but looks good. The meat was good and the vegetables and fruit were also selectively good. I say selectively since at this time of year some fruits (eg. oranges) were good at times and not good at other times.”

“They always have everything we need! Great selection of organic products, compostable plastic produce/grocery bags and they seperate the perfectly ripe avocados from the not yet ripe ones so you know which ones are ready to eat today! It's a wonderful little shop to have in the neighborhood!”

I'm a big fan of fresh herbs and the fresh herbs here were fantastic. They were robust, super fresh and tasted incredible in my herb and arugula salad. The customer service is top notch. The gentleman that I spoke to was kind, friendly and very knowledgeable of the products in the shop. This was my first time shopping here and it won't be my last. It was a great shopping experience!”

“Deleted my prior review and reposting because nothing has changed but the prices are probably even more competitive. My haul for less than $22 - 2 boxes of strawberries, corn on the cob, zucchini, bean sprouts, blueberries, king oyster mushrooms and lemons; as well as white mushrooms and avocados that are close to expiration dates (and so amazing bargain). Also want to mention that I saw some recent reviews about bad quality or moldy products. I do not shop frequently since I live far away, but I have never had a problem. Even the close to expiration items are good - but you had better use them soon! So no complaints from me.”
“This place has a wide selection of imported goods, fruits, vegetables and provisions from Guyana, Jamaica and Trinidad. As well as salt beef, pig tail, cow heel, ox tail and goat. A great Caribbean market experience.”

“if u have unlimited cash, this is the place you want to be buying groceries at. it’s a happening place with uber wealthy geriatric grocers and the rest of us wannabes, unnecessarily sweet philipino people working, and no meat/fish section so you’ll have to go next door to oliffe or psices and drop some more dough for a real meal. the strawberries are worth every penny of the insane price tag ($17)”
