Some of the items were decently priced, but overall the prices were similar to No Frills or Costco. Best before dates were around 1-2 months at the time I visited.

Great store to save a lot of money, new deals every week and good for those of limited income. Can get a lot of good food most frozen before dates and for less then you imagine. Never a miss when I go.

I check out Grocery Outlet once per week and always find something neat. Just check expiration and freeze if close to the date. Dry goods, like cereal or crackers, are fine a few months past expiry. Good prices and helpful staff. Fairly quiet during the week.

The name makes it appear as if you're going to get groceries at a cheaper right here but you don't really. And also some of the products are expiring within a few weeks or a month or so. Lots of parking. Check the pics for examples

It's kind of hit and miss. Sometimes they have something you're looking for in another times no. Sometimes you find really good deals on something and other times it's very close to regular store prices but very close to expiry date. It's not always the same product some things are only in stock for a short-term

It's interesting every time I go because they have a variety of different products. They particularly have a wide selection of keto and vegan items, making it a suitable store for those who don't pay much attention to expiration dates.

A true paradise to find so many vegan products! I kind of like not knowing what they'll carry but I luckily follow the fb group and the vegan community puts up their great finds. I really love the great discounts on the vegan items that would be much higher at regular grocery stores. Thanks.

Been using this place for many years with a focus on rare and massively discounted goods. Truly a blessing. Treat it like costco and bulk up as the stock rotates frequently. Super cheap energy drinks and protein snacks - 3 packs of pork rinds 85g, for 5 bucks. Can't find portable protein for that cheap anywhere else

Great prices for near expiration date products. Now with gluten free and plant base items, which is awesome. You never know what you are going to find since the products change. So, you need to go often.

Huge selection of food that is constantly changing (stock up if you find a favourite because it may not be there next time). A few items are more expensive than the grocery store, but otherwise you can score some great deals. Lots of frozen options including baked goods, proteins, and meals.

Update: Note Price Drops!Keto pizza was priced at $12.A 2.6 kg bag of perogi was $12.50 (comparable to regular store prices). When I visited 1-2 weeks later, their prices dropped to $7 and $5 respectively! As with any outlet visit, my only expectation was that items would have lower prices than regular stores....Beyond Burger patties were half the price of regular grocery store sale prices.Dr Oeker The Good Baker - Spinach & Pumpkin Seed frozen pizza was $1.Love Grown Cereal was $1.50 (some were expired)Some items were comparable to regular stores. Kraft Dinner Mac & Cheese was $0.88/ box (same as a 12 pack on sale for $10)As other reviewers advise: I strongly recommend checking best before date before dropping the item in your cart.

It’s 75% frozen, processed foods and 25% candies, pop, other junk foods. You can’t actually do your grocery shopping here. We got some Dunkaroo related items for the novelty, I believe we got 5 items 8$. Didn’t notice until we were going to the car but 3 of the items were 3ish months after the best before date. Yes, I understand that it’s a best before date and not expiry, but it’s clearly a lot of old food being sold and that’s why it’s so cheap. You can find a few deals on some foods, but keep in mind, it’ll be something frozen and processed or junk food. I saw 90% of people just with carts of ice cream, pop, candies, and maybe a frozen bag of fries and a pizza. Check the dates on anything you buy for sure.

Some things are definitely worth buying at this store for the price. There are many vegan options to try out. Most products are nearing their best before date so they sell them at a much cheaper price, but it's still good!!!The workers had some of their own music playing, and they seemed to be really happy in their environment. The cashier was really sweet, and they even provide cardboard boxes if you don't want/have any bags to pack your groceries. Definitely worth checking them out.
