I made an appointment a few days ago for today 20th November at 12.10 to see someone named Eddie Woo. I arrived on time and was greeted by someone in theinformation desk. I told him I had an appointment with Eddie Woo at 12.10He looked confused but told me to sit down. He came back a few minutes later asked me to come this way and with avery small laptop in hand hetook me to a closet size room only to tell me that he can help me open an account. I said I was looking to invest in Gic’s and wanted information on TFS accounts and where is Eddie Woo? He said he was busy. Busy I said ? I have an appointment with him. He then called Eddie woo who came and was just as confused as the reception man and said , do you have an account with us ? I said no, and he said he can open an account for you. I said you are not very professional are you? I wanted to buy Gics and invest my money in HSBC !! I then got up and said , I won’t be doing that with you!! Thank you for your time. And left! Very unprofessional people in this bank , it’s too bad because of them they lost a new customer. Terrible customer service.

Terrible customer service. I had to deal with a Power of Attorney for my mother. Branch acted like I was the first person to walk into their branch and ask to get PoA for an account. They essentially refused to help me because the account was from Montreal. I had to drive to Montreal to get help and the Montreal branch was perplexed and confused why the Don Mills branch wouldn't help me. They told me there was no reason the Don Mills branch couldn't help me, he said they were just lazy and didn't want to deal with me because the account wasn't from their branch. He said it wasn't the first time he'd heard of this.

I went for mortgage approval to Stanley. He was super awesome and helpful. Didn't ask a bunch of questions like other banks. straight up to the point and followed-up promptly and got my mortgage approved at a very good rate.If anyone is looking for mortgage, please go in here.He will take care of rest of the things and will make your life much easier.

I am posting this on behalf of a friend. “I should have known that taking two months to deliver a debit card was a sign of shoddy service. Having recently come abroad, I signed up with the nearest HSBC to my Airbnb because its UK counterpart was awesome. I had the disdained pleasure of being contacted by Sampson. He is the hardest “assistant manager” to get in touch with, is incompetent to handle the most simple issues and has no respect for people's time. I had moved away from don mills to the harbourfront. After jumping through hoops to get in touch with him, I explained I lived quite far. He was insistent that I come to his branch. He confirmed an appointment with me and was a no-show. I've never seen anything this sloppy by a bank's leadership. Hsbc, please pick better people. The problems I've had with my credit card are countless as well and have been told I need to contact MasterCard themselves to resolve rather than hsbc being of any use even though they issued it.”

Exceptional banking service and very professional, got the best mortgage rate for my mortgage, seems they are new opening branch thus offer their own staff rate to new customers. Such a hidden gem as this branch doesn’t put many ads. Would definitely recommend to my friends!
