We bought a sofa and two arm chairs from Maison Corbeil at this location in August 2022, we had to wait quite a bit (4-5 months) but we didn't complain as we were prepared for the wait.However, the reason we are so disappointed is because we has bought a stain insurance on the the sofa, we ended up needing to request a claim in September 2023, we found out they outsourced the insurance to Comerco. Comerco sent a contractor who could not get the stain removed and Comerco sent us a replacement credit in November 2023. After several calls to the store (even though they were supposed to contact us). After wasting so much time, the after sales rep pressured Comerco to reject the store credit and reopen the claim. This is after months of having to coordinate between Comerco and Maison Corbeil. What a disappointment!

Although they have really cool furniture and accessories and they did have a big sale and lots of unique things that are very reasonably priced, I was not greeted or offered any help the entire time I walked around the store. So the customer service is lacking if you want a self-service experience that's got some cool things go here.

I noticed these couches at Maison Corbeiland initially, I was hesitant about buying them due to uncertainty about the color. However, after speaking with a sales representative, she assured me that the color would be calming and not too bright. I went ahead and made the purchase, and I must say I am extremely delighted with my decision. I highly recommend this store because their furniture is sophisticated and surpasses the quality of most furniture stores.

I am so excited about the new couch I just bought here. The sales and design person was super helpful. She had great ideas and was patient and kind with me and all my questions. Good job Sherece Spencer, thanks for all your help. Nice store, clean and bright with tons of selection and good prices for the quality

The in store service is good, but you will never get what you need by calling this number. I don’t know what is the purpose to leave this phone number on the website. No one will support you in the call.One single rude behavior ruin all 5 stars work done before.

We purchased a couple of suff from Maison Corbeil. One was a sideboard. That had a manufacturing issue. So, we contacted with our sale agent and she connected us to a customer service agent. They sent out us a new one in a short period of time with no extra cost/shiping cost. We're happy to buy our furniture from Maison Corbeil.

Worst (non-existent) follow up service.If you have a problem with your order and delivery, and you will unless you just bought a throw cushion, forget about it! You’ll wish you went to IKEA instead!

UPDATE on October 4, 2002.Soon after I posted my original review below, my matter was escalated. I was contacted by phone by MC's Vice President of Customer Experience. He was very apologetic, acknowledged that they were experiencing some customer service challenges, and he committed to look into my matter and call me with an update by the end of the day - which he did. Turns out it was a supply chain issue and the container with my table had not arrived in Vancouver and it was expected to be another month until it arrived. While I would not have been happy with this news at any time, had they simply proactively contacted me with this information at the previously committed-to delivery date, I would have been fine. He also offered me a loaner table, which I declined because it was nothing like the one we ordered.In any event, he put one of their customer service reps in touch with me, and the rep said that he would contact me in a month's time to advise me about the status of my order. He did not do this - I needed to follow up with him. He did respond quickly once I emailed him, only to advise me that my table was not on the container received in Vancouver and that it would be another 3 months. At this time they offered me 3 options, one of which was the floor model of the table we originally saw in their Toronto store at a sizeable discount – we accepted this offer. The table was delivered within 4 days and we are very happy with it.The last part of this story is that they did not immediately issue the refund from the discount. I followed up by email one week after we received the table with the customer service rep I had been communicating with and asked how and when we would receive the refund. One week passed and I received no reply, so followed up again. This time I received a reply right away but was told it would take a week to process the refund (making it 3 weeks since I received the table). When I protested, I was suddenly contacted by their accounts payable department the following day and the refund was processed immediately.In the end, we have the table we wanted and are very happy with it, though much later than we were originally told. I appreciate the steps they took to remedy the situation, but the continued lack of proactive follow-up after this was escalated to the VP kind of un-did the goodwill they built towards the end of this. – it feels to me that their customer responsiveness still needs some work.I have changed my original rating from 1 star to 2 stars because I'm happy with the table and want to acknowledge the effort they made to remedy this situation. But they fumbled the ball too many times during this experience such that we'd not have confidence in buying from them again.Original review:This is a caution to anyone ordering from Maison Corbeil. We ordered and PAID FOR a bistro table in May. At that time, we received an email saying that estimated delivery was end of July and they provided a toll-free number to call with any questions. We were not happy with the timing, but given supply chain issues, we accepted it. It's now the second week of August. I have called their toll-free number twice - each time no-one answers - you are instructed to leave a message and that someone will "get back to you". Three weeks ago and one week ago I left a message with my order number and my contact info. No one has called me back. At best, this organization does not care about their customers, and at worst they are thieves because they have my money and I have no product and they will not respond to my calls. I STRONGLY caution anyone who considering buying from this organization.
