I had a terrible experience at the One’s Better Living store in Centerpoint Mall, which I feel compelled to share. When I asked the saleswoman if the items were stickers, she confirmed they were.
However, just five minutes after the purchase, I discovered that they were just pictures that needed to be cut out and glued by myself. I immediately returned to the store and demanded a refund, but I was denied. Instead, they offered to exchange the item for something else of the same value.
There was another problem with choosing a new item: when I picked a pen for the same amount, it turned out I needed to pay an additional 13 cents.
I didn’t have any cash, only a card, but the store refused to accept the card for such a small amount, insisting on cash. I insisted on a refund, to which they claimed that under Canadian law, a refund was not possible. This is absurd, as it contradicts current legislation.
After several minutes of dispute, the store agreed to accept my card to pay the 13 cents. The staff’s attitude was extremely rude and unprofessional.
As a blogger, I feel a responsibility to share this negative experience with my subscribers and will do so today. I am extremely upset and disappointed.
I do not recommend this store to anyone, and I will never return there myself.

Great for homewares at affordable prices, and also for cute little toys and additions to brighten up home life. Similar to Omomo but more affordable. They seem to also have rotating stock so good to check in once in awhile to see what you can find. Always something cheap and useful.
