Apparently they no longer pick up items, and I was told there was a minimum pick-up fee of $99+tax. Sad. I’d rather donate than dump, but I can’t afford to “donate” at that rate. (Can’t haul boxes of books to the drop off point).

Was looking for a specific place to donate text books n found them on line. We drop off 1st time at their location in North York .
You can schedule a pick at yr home too. Supposedly, they will plant a tree for yr donation.

I arranged a pick up of boxes of books - it was easy, so fast and it felt great knowing that the books will be distributed to places that need them. Wonderful service. Highly recommend!

Was a pleasure to work with Second Bind. People were very responsive and friendly and the pick up was right on time. The driver was very courteous and helpful. Will definitely be using Second Bind again.

I was so happy to find this company dedicated to recycling books to places where they will be used and useful and loved a second time.
I packed up 14 boxes and they were picked up promptly and efficiently. Highly recommend this endeavour and I’ll be packing up more books as I continue to go through my bookshelves.
Many thanks for saving these books from landfill and me from guilt about dooming my books to that fate.

I had some veterinary textbooks that were in brand new condition but older versions. I was hanging onto them and found Second Bind as a place to donate them so that they will hopefully be useful to someone else - anatomy and physiology does not change, even if the books are not current so they are still a valuable resource to anyone studying veterinary medicine.

Great experience! I had three boxes of old textbooks to donate, and they were able to pick them up directly from my house. Rather than just throwing them in the garbage.
