The gentleman working the counter today is always very kind and helpful, but unfortunately his employer can't or won't fix their scanning equipment so he gets all the complaints from customers. He is very competent and good at his job, but his employer wants it to be almost impossible for the guy to do his job. Give him a raise for managing your mistakes, fix your equipment, and stand behind your workers.

Yesterday, July 29th, I went there at 6:05 a.m. to buy something. As I arrived, a male employee wearing glasses left the store with a customer and started cleaning outside. I tried to go in to shop, but he told me it was closed and wouldn't let me shop. This isn't the first time this has happened. The other employees are doing their job, but this is the third time I've encountered this person this morning, and he's always acted this way.

The cashier closed earlier than the scheduled time, as indicated by the signage outside. For instance, the signage states that this location sells alcohol until 11 p.m., but when I arrived at 10:37 p.m., they informed me that they were closed.

You're now making us watch Shell commercials while we pump gas at blaring loud volumes. Stop shoving your commercials at your customers while we're already buying your gas!
Also terrible customer service here, I tried asking an employee about using my air miles card; he just vigourously shook his head without saying anything. No 'hi' or any kind of explanation. I was able to use my air miles card so clearly staff don't know how this stuff works. Train your employees better on how to interact with customers!

DO NOT GO!
This station has the worst gas attendants I have ever encountered. I have tried to put air in my tires for three years at this location and each time it takes your money but you get no air. When I asked the attendant why this is the case, she just said "oh well, go ask the company for your money back". I advised her that Shell has a service contract for the air machine and that she or someone on her team should call it to have it routinely checked. She didn't care.
The attendant was rude, disrespectful and had the nerve to try and yell at me in front of a line up of customers- ridiculous for the brand of the company. I'm sure the manager obviously knows this attendant is rude but doesn't really care enough to do anything.
Truly this is the worst Shell station and unfortunately after many years, it has not gotten better. I will also be filing a complaint with head office. I have never written a complaint in my life. I know people have good days and bad days but this has gone on for too long.
Also, I would strongly recommend you quit pressuring customers to buy those 2 for 1 chocolates in basket. If the customer says no, than no means no. The high pressure sales tactics is worse than a used car salesman.
I hope Shell completes a full audit of this location.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Shell gas station yesterday, Saturday, June 15th 2024 between 1:35 and 2:30. The cashier's behavior was completely unprofessional and discriminatory. After I politely asked her to scan my CAA card, which I had forgotten was in my back pocket, she insulted me in her native language, assuming I wouldn't understand. As a Black customer, this behavior is not just unacceptable but deeply troubling. It's appalling to be treated with such disrespect simply for requesting assistance. I will not be returning to this Shell station and would caution others against patronizing it.

The male employee was scanning his own airmiles card on everyone’s transactions!! And didn’t even ask me if I had a card, this is fraud!!! And I hope he gets caught!!

Want to get ripped off? Buy gas here!Staff are confused at this location.My pump was only pumping 40 cents at a time...and most of that was not gas. The gas trigger was not pumping gas but kept charging me. I told them to place an Out of Service sign...they didn't. They are ripping off many customers at this pump.This ordeal wasted 30 minutes of my time.They then told me to call Head Office to get my money back????Not the 1st time I have had issues at this gas station.

Although I cannot always find high octane gasoline, it is in a nice location and their gasoline is really good, thank you Shell
