Had a fantastic experience at Sleep Country canada at Dufferin Rd./Lawrence Ave. in Toronto this weekend. Buying a new mattress for elderly in-laws, we received amazing care, information, and options. Mateen, our salesperson, was kind, personable and very efficient. Great selection and great service.

When we went here with my wife 2 weeks ago to need a bed, a man of Indian origin welcomed us there. While we were looking at the beds, he came to us and told us to take off our clothes and try to lie on the beds. I said I don't want to lie down, I'll sit on it and check it. He kept insisting on us. He insisted, "Take off your clothes, lie down on the bed and check." I said, "I don't want to take off our clothes, tell me the price, if we like it, we want to buy it." He kept insisting that you take it off and lie on it. Take off your clothes and lie on top of him. I got angry at the same time. I said, "Come on lady, let's get out of here, let's go, this guy doesn't listen to us." He cursed me behind my back. He started to say, "You are not a good man." This is the first time I have encountered such a thing. I request the people there and the authorities there to do what is necessary about this arrogant person.

My girlfriend and i met recently with salesperson Sarah at the dufferin and lawrence location. I met with her a second time. Her product knowledge was absolutely amazing!! In addition her customer service skills and recommendations were second to none. Despite that i nomally deal with another sales person at another sleep country location i was almost tempeted to buy from her right then and there. But as a former salesperson myself i believe in being loyal to only one salesperson. What impressed me the most was she didn't just say this mattress is for you but she explained in detail why this mattress was for me and not another one i was considering. The only negative thing i can say was what she recomended was a bit too firm for me being a side sleeper. However being a guy over 250 lbs i can understand why she did. I just hope i can get another exchange now based on sleep country's comfort guarantee as this mattress is causing me hip pain.
