I recently purchased a black dress from Ted Baker, and within two weeks, we discovered a defect we hadn't noticed initially. When we tried to exchange it for the same size, the manager claimed it was worn due to the removed tag and pilling on the sleeve, refusing our request. Despite explaining that it was unworn and providing the tag, they declined to replace it. Extremely disappointing customer service experience – won't be buying from this store again.

Visited today for shorts and shirts. The young lady that assisted us was very helpful and pleasant as was the young lady at the cash. I’ve shopped here several times in the past and find the quality of clothing excellent.

To Whom It May ConcernI am writing to address an issue regarding a dress purchase I made at Ted Baker Yorkdale on July 9, 2023, at 8:19 PM. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with this transaction, and I would like to explain the situation in detail.Upon visiting the store, I tried on a dress without checking the price initially, as I genuinely liked the design. However, upon closer inspection, it appeared that the dress had already been used, and I requested a new one from the available stock. Unfortunately, the store did not have any additional dresses in stock, leaving me uncertain about whether I should proceed with the purchase. I informed the salesperson that I would try it on again at home so that my husband could give his opinion.Afterward, I proceeded to the cashier to complete the payment. The cashier did not mention anything regarding the price, and I assumed it was a standard transaction. As the store was closing soon, I hurriedly left the premises. However, upon returning home, my husband expressed dissatisfaction with the dress, mentioning that it appeared worn and did not fit properly, considering its price.Subsequently, I visited the store today JULY 10,2023 AT 3:00PM to return the dress NOT EVEN A DAY I HAVE THE DRESS, only to be informed that returns were not accepted. At no point during the purchase process was I made aware of any conditions, such as a non-refundable policy or only store credit. I NEED my money back. There was no indication on the tag or any verbal communication regarding a discounted price of 50%. It is unreasonable to expect customers to thoroughly read receipts, as people are often occupied with other matters.While I initially contemplated placing a new order, my frustration escalated due to an encounter with the General Manager, Leaf Watson. The manner in which she addressed me was both unprofessional and condescending, as if she believed herself to be the owner of Ted Baker. I value diversity and have numerous friends of different backgrounds, but Leaf Watson's behavior was disconcerting and devoid of basic customer service empathy. It is perplexing how someone with such an attitude could attain the position of General Manager. Her self-proclaimed status and the way she introduced herself ("YES, I'M THE GENERAL MANAGER IN YORKDALE LOCATION only exacerbated my disappointment. Moreover, I have come across feedback on social media that echoes my concerns about her boastful nature.I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. I am deeply frustrated and hope you can empathize with my situation regarding Leaf Watson. Returning the dress is of utmost importance to me, and I look forward to hearing from you soon with a resolution.Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Their employees are very nice and helpful. One associate helped me a lot to find the right size for the dress I liked. I definitely recommend this store if you’re looking for clothes for special occasions.

I was impressed with the service. Sales took their time to help us out and even ordered online when a particular purse wasn't in stock. And the price was reasonable for a designer purse.

Fantastic associates, very knowledgeable and helpful throughout my shopping experience - the girl with the glasses and the light-haired boy were particularly great! Helped me find the perfect peacoat after hours of scouring the mall!

Ted Baker is a cool looking clothing store located right in the heart of the Yorkdale mall. The staff at Ted Baker are very cool and provide great customer service , treating you like a VIP. The clothing at Ted Baker is very cheek, niche, and upscale as the clothing is considered very expensive. If you are willing to fork out $300 on a sweater, this is your place. I really enjoyed my time and the clothing is very comfortable to wear \u0026 puts you in a class in a league of their own.

Great looking store. Great looking suits, shirts and dresses. Bought a lot of my business attire from here. Great quality.One concern, the staff could need more customer service training compared to other luxury stores.

Ted Baker is one of my favorite spots at Yorkdale, even though it's pricy, and I love the staff here. But I wanna admit that sometimes they appear rude or discriminatory towards the other people that don't look "classy" enough, or just looking to check out the place for the sake of it since A LOT of people come there and ask questions who don't have the slightest intention to even try the items. Nonetheless, in my experience they have been highly respectful, particularly once they get to know and recognize me and other family members who are regular customers, even if we may not visit that often.
