The prices at VV are outrageous. I will never donate to them again. I donated a bunch of old clothes and a week later i saw one of my old sweaters selling for 10.99...i paid 9.99 for it brand new at winners 5 years ago. Don't donate to them. They don"t help anyone with the money they make. Scammers.

I was a regular at this place and I would greet the workers there. From when I started coming here, they seemed so passionate and welcoming. Nowadays they seem very tired and overworked. I don't see as many staff as before. Seems like they are very understaff. I mainly talked to the short blonde filipino lady and a tall filipino guy. They were both helpful in finding items and I would see them help other customers with finding clothes or stocking the baby bins. The front people are also very nice and they would be on standby for help if I needed any.As of now, when I came back here recently, I don't think I will be coming back to this location anymore since the prices increased more again, the temperature in this store compared to others are brutal (too hot ac not always working) as well as the workers seem a lot more tired than usual and don't seem to get enough rest which probably the reason of their low energy.Overall the staff are nice no major issues with them, but the way this location is handling the issues is low to non-existent. What is the management doing?

You can donate any clothes any time all you need to do is make sure they are in good condition and the workers at the store will help you take it in from the backside of the building. Very knowledgeable and smart people in this store. There are some random items which are very expensive. however if they are going to keep the same price at least make sure the item is clean and usable condition. I checked a long carpet price was $164 i guess it way more expensive than the original price, and the carpet was not caccumed it got stains. This is for the management.

It's a typical VV. Located in dense residential, there is lots of traffic so stuff gets picked through pretty quickly. I wouldn't expect to find many gems here but for the basics, it's great, good number of racks.

They have some eye-catchy stuff that you look for in dollarama to experiment.Books are arranged in no order whatsoever, almost impossible to find something specific.Don't know about clothes.

I recently discovered this Value Village location at Van Horne Plaza and loved it!I found a dress shirt and fleece top that fit perfectly and were in fantastic condition. Great deals too!I'm definitely coming back because they have great clothes for men.

It’s pretty busy here. Maybe all the good stuff is gone. The prices here are kind of ridiculous and overpriced. You’ll find like something you can get from Dollarama brand new for more than double the price. There’s like a whole bunch of FunkoPop toys, that are not popular, they were priced at around $15 to $20. I see these same unpopular FunkoPop toys priced at Dollarama for like $5 or less.Or a clearly cheap simple calculator that should be about $2 brand new, Value Village priced it at $6.99.Those are just a couple of examples. If you want deals on used items, it’s probably better to just go online to Facebook Marketplace or Kijiji. Most items are reasonably priced, negotiable, and in WAY better condition.

Horrible customer service. The manager on duty (little woman in a hijab) was extremely rude to me when one of the items was unticketed. I had two unticketed items (one of which I noticed was unticketed and handed it to the lady and one of which I didn’t notice). Her and her colleague were badgering me about this when it is NOT my responsibility to be reprimanded for unticketed items. You don’t EVER yell at a paying customer for the shortcomings of your own staff. If this location is so worried about theft, install cashiers to avoid situations like this instead of having your staff treat customers poorly. I came back to the location to ask to speak the manager and I was speaking to that same lady and she walked away from me mid sentence. She kept saying the same spiel about paying for all the items which I never opposed to, it was her behaviour in which I am leaving this complaint. Pathetic!

Sold us a battery-operated toy that was completely broken. Came home and opened the screwed back panel to find one corrupted battery. After taking it out and putting 2 new ones in, it still didn't work. I get that it's Value Village, but at least test battery-operated items before putting it out on the floor.

One of the smaller Value Villages. Looks dated and dreary needs new lights. The book section is light. Lots of clothes, great bargain hunting opportunity. Decent parking lot. They also take in donations.

Went to value village. I found what I want good quality of clothes for good prices. I’m so happy what a good feeling. I bought T-shirt for my son. Short pants. And more.

I like this value village. It has a wide range of clothes, shoes, books, toys, and house decor.Items are well organised and decent. You know exactly where to look for what.

This location is a RIP OFF!!! Who ever does the pricing for this store may need to be drug tested. They knowingly sell broken and damaged items and refuse to exchange or return it. Several times I find empty cases for DVD or video games. This store is knowingly inflating their prices and ripping off the community.Example - a coffee mug with a price tag of $35!!! I thought it was an error, but no, the cashier said it's a collectable. A coffee mug for $35... Let that sink in!!Example 2 - items with price sticker when new was actually the same or even less than the price these profit pirates are asking. Frequently find dollar store items with (for example) $2 price sticker that these theives are pricing at $3.... something is seriously wrong with this greedy store!!!

Terrible experience at this location. Not only are the children's book priced higher at this location than any location I've been to, the staff are incredibly rude and do not have any respect for customers. I picked up serveral items on my last visit.I cashed out and as I was taking my receipt an employee asked how much I paid for an item, check my receipt and proceeded to tell me the item was priced incorrectly and I would have to be refunded or pay the difference. I told her they would have to honour the price as it was listed and on the floor for sale. She continued to argue with me, proceeded to remove the item from my hands, refunded my money's in cash(even though I paid credit) and left my cash on the counter and walked away. Hands down worst experience I've had at a value village and will not be returning.

As most of the reviews have stated, this location is overpriced in general. The photo says it all (taken just this week). Consider another VV or alternative thrift store for your bargain finds.
