I came here because I wanted to switch my service provider and Kamal helped me out so much. he was super nice and showed me all the plans and explained in detail what each one had to offer and he helped me switch over from my old phone provider without changing my phone number and finished everything for me under 20 minutes. Great service great speed, and great prices too for the packages!

About a month ago I decided to switch to freedom for my cell service. There was a young man there who helped me out with setting up my plan and my phone, I kept the phone I had, not a new one. Did not play with the phone or freedom service because my wife already had her phone with freedom for years, so I knew what their service was like. About a week later was waiting for the wife, while she was dress shopping, so I decided to look something up on the good old Google. Would not connect. Got home and started playing with it. Calling and texting worked as expected, connection to Wi-Fi worked as expected, took off Wi-Fi, no connection. Went back to the store, same young man, went through my phone, changed SIM card in case it was defective, nothing. He tried everything he knew how to do and could not get it connected to data. Told me to call freedom tech support, they have more advanced techniques, should be able to get it straightened out. After an hour on the phone with three different people and levels of tech support, I was told it could take 3-5 days to continue working on it from their end and I would get a text with update. Heard nothing from anyone.Ten days later, I called in and went through the whole thing again. This time the last person I talked to said, it had to be something wrong with my phone, I could look at their list and find what I wanted and all he could do was wave the $45.00 activation fee. I was not happy, but Started looking at phones available. Went in to the store today to see and touch and hold the 2 that I had narrowed it down to. Found a young lady there, her name is Akshita, explained the whole story to her. She asked if she could examine my phone. I handed it over and her fingers were going a mile a minute, pushing, sliding, swiping, while telling me it just was not logical that everything worked and Wi-Fi worked but data would not connect. After 10 minutes and my head spinning watching her fingers moving at lightning speed, she handed the phone back and told me to try it out. Guess what … data connecting as it should, everything working as it should, I was absolutely amazed, all those people at tech support could not do a thing except say, buy a new phone. Akshita is an amazing young lady, who really knows what she is doing. I know where to go and who to talk to if I ever have questions about phones and plans. To the owner of this store and freedom, don’t let her ever leave.

Horrible experience at this place avoid at all cost. First sales person lied to me explaining that I can port in my 2 numbers so,I bought 2 lines + iPhone then I waited the msg to port out from my current carrier with no responce then I had to spend 3 days chasing customer service over phone sometimes no available agents and other time contradicting statement.When returned to the shop a new fact just surfaced that porting in can't happen as my 2 numbers originated from other province where freedom has no coverage so porting not allowed , that was never explained to me when the guy was selling in fact he was assuring me that everything will go smoothly.I ended up with 4 lines and 2 sets so after a big argument I returned 1 line, the line I kept had no coverage at some places and voice calls dropped like this is the normal, at this point I decided to return everything but the agent at this shop was extremely unhelpful she tried her best not to refund me one time claiming this is open box item which was not and other time claiming 14 days has elapsed while it was day 14 finally she threatened me to call police claiming am rude and not acting politely!!!!I urged her to call the police and she did.While waiting the police she instigated the return so when police arrived she showed them that problem is solved ? . What was the last straw she insisted I have to apologize to her which I rejected and policeman backed me up on this.Bottom line bunch of scammers, bad to no mobile coverage and definitely lower moral sales crocks and worst after sale as well.

Most horrible experience, and no expertise on Freedom plans. I was helped by Prerak S in buying a pre-paid plan. Prerak provided MISINFORMATION on the details of the plan, and told me that there is no difference between 5 cents and 50 cents for each incoming text. I asked for the manager, and was told that he cannot disclose this information. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. Go to Oakville Place! Even Freedom Mobile customer service sucks!

I really would like to give that store 0 star.This is a horrible scammer.He just hooking people to buy what they don’t want. He changing his wording. Bad sales attitude. I never go that store again ever. I talked with Freedom customer service that they apologized to me that I have horrible experience.Scam store for sure!!

I went in to get my SIM card replaced- it's a fix that takes around 2 minutes, plus whatever time it takes to verify the change. When I walked in, there was another gentleman talking to the only worker present about his phone plan. I was not greeted, I was not told "I'll be with you as soon as I can", I was not even acknowledged by the worker. I waited for easily 30 minutes, if not longer, without a single word spoken to me by the worker, until the other gentleman was done with his transaction. Once he left, I approached the worker, and mentioned the delay and lack of acknowledgement. He responded fairly rudely, providing no reason for his poor service- not even an apology. I told him my problem, I went through the verification steps (throughout which the worker was quite rude), and he handed me the sim card. He did not offer to insert it, he did not even offer me the sim hard tool. I asked for a dim card tool, he handed it to me, and I went to leave- he stopped me, saying he needed the sim card tool (it is a tiny piece of metal that can not cost more than 5 cents to make.) I said fine, and inserted the card there. I then left. Throughout the entire interaction, the worker was needlessly rude. I am not usually one to so thoroughly criticize service, but when it is this severely lacking, I feel I must. Frankly, even the service freedom mobile themselves provides is godawful. They hide the fact that all of their "unlimited" plans actually throttle the speeds so severely past a point that you might as well not have data at all. Frankly, there are no good mobile service providers in Canada, but for the love of god, if you can afford anyone other than freedom, go with them.
