Got our little Bichon a new raincoat. This one is built smart its hood is partially see through, our dog will not move if his hood comes over his eyes. This little difference makes a world of rain a new experience as now he can see and stay dry. Before we had to pull his hood back so it wouldt fall forward thus making it obsolete...AWESOME !!

Great service and a nice chat with the young girl stacking the shelves. Girl on cash was nice too! Christmas doggy collars for a bunch of my doggy friends.

I've shared a five-star review in the past although I thought it was necessary that I share my experience. I've been going to the same location to pick up all of my dog's needs for the past 3 years every month and Deborah greets me with a happy smile and good service each and every time I'm in there. She's made my experience much better every visit helping me and knowing her way around the store. To being knowledgeable on the products. Each and every time I have a left I felt like I was treated with care and had great customer service from Deborah!

Difficult experience with the staff with returning dog food that gave my dog allergies. Difficult experience with groomers. Took my dog in for grooming services he came back with 1 ear clean and 1 ear completely untouched and dirty. Was told he was lunging and snarling at dogs which was a huge surprise as he’s gotten grooming done for years and has never had any issues. I guess it’s easier to blame the dog than take accountability. Would not recommend at all. Go to another location.

Friendly and helpful staff. It has everything you need pet wise for dogs, cats, birds, fishes, and much more. Take a visit and you won't regret it. They also offer online orders on doordash as well.

I will never come here again. The grooming service here is not good a all. This is not the first time I come here for grooming service and they lay me go without the service being done. The first time they did not know how to read the rabbies vaccine I confirmed that she is not due and I had the certificate and they couldn’t read it properly I went to the vet and she said no she has a still a year. Today the groomer said she is too nodded I can’t do it when her hair is perfectly fine you can put your vet. I was at my vet couple of days ago to get them a clear rabbies reading so we do not get the same issue my vet knew that I coming to them she did not say it is too dangerous to groom her hair. I asked to speak with a manager. The floor manager put her hands between my dog hair and she said they can see her skin. Them the grooming manger came out repeat the same thing. I will never come here again.I took my dog to another place they were able to groom her with no issue. I believe you need to train your staff instead of sending people away

I take my dog here for grooming. They typically do a good job. Today they cancelled my grooming appointment less than 2 hours before. I understand that things will happen last minute, but it also means that they don't leave much wiggle room in their team schedules (or have much in the way of contingency planning) to accommodate any last-minute issues with groomers.

A large store with excellent selection. Prices are average to a little high. When we were there on a weekday late afternoon, there were very few staff on the floor to help, which was frustrating.

If I could give -0 stars I would me and my son experienced racism in this store we went in to purchase a fish for my 7 yrs son for his birthday and employee named Catherine “cat “ wouldn’t sell us a fish because we did not wanna purchase a tank from the store, which I stated that we were purchasing a tank elsewhere and she was giving us such a hard time and bad experience interrogating us with questions that I asked another employee for help with the other employee was excellent, and helping us getting everything we needed and then I noticed Catherine following me my son, and the other employee around… and before all of this, while I was with the other employee, she was serving other customers, and not interrogating them with questions as she did with me and my son. When I noticed her following me around the fish tank area while was gathering other items I told her to call her manager. and the manager did not address her behavior, and while speaking to the manager Catherine kept interrupting the manager, so I had to get the manager to call the team, lead somebody higher than her because she could not address Catherine’s behaviour…. Spoke to the team lead she apologized, and I asked for the number for hr so I can make a complaint I end up not getting anything From Petsmart and while all this was happening, Catherine was still following us around me, my son and the team lead she was at least 10 feet away at all moments for me, until I left the store which is really ridiculous to me because there was a lot of people in the fish tank area that needed help and instead of helping them, she chose to follow me and my son around because we are black !! this happened Monday August 21, 2023…… absolutely ridiculous!!

The Staff is amazing, they are so kind and gentle with the pets. My dog loves visiting the staff each time we go shopping for him.

Hello,I want to say how amazing the worker with the cowboy hat, and all those rings was with our puppy. Our 4 month old lab was struggling with kibbles ans couldn't fins the right one. His recommendation was the best, and our puppy devoured her whole bowl!Thank you so much, the love and time you gave our puppy and us was extraordinairy even when you were busy! Thank you again for helping with the collar recommenation too!

Ordered online, other stores have a direct line for online order pick up. I asked the lady who’s chatting away with her co- worker, meanwhile she asked me to go stand in the line which took 10 mins. Not a good customer experience.If you are busy I understand, but if you are just standing next to the ladder and chatting what you did yesterday with an employee while there’s a line up, not helpful.The lady who ended up helping me at the check out was very kind and friendly tho. But will not return to this store based on this experience

When I went to pick up my dog from her grooming today at Pet Smart on Hyde Park Gate in Oakville, her groomer, Annie, immediately asked me if my dog was on a low fat diet (without even a hello first.) She did not give me any information about how the grooming went or let me know that my dog was okay. I said no, and she said that it would probably be better if my dog gained some weight. This groomer is not qualified to give advice and I have been told by my dog's veterinarian that her body composition is completely healthy. I did not appreciate the insinuation that my dog is underweight or that I am underfeeding her in any capacity and left feeling extremely upset. She also added a "brushing fee" stating that it took her 15 minutes to brush her. However, there is no way the grooming took an additional 15 minutes if they schedule 3-4 hours for the appointment and my dog was done in less than 2. She did not mention the fee at all but rather handed me the bill. Overall, the experience was unpleasant, insulting, and disappointing.
