“Please, for the love of god, just play the same, normal O Canada song every morning. Nobody wants to hear “Gloriooous and freee ee e e e”. Other than that, good school”

“Working alongside St. Mildred's-Lightbourn School has been an amazing experience. Their mission to develop courageous girls who challenge and change the world, really captures everything they stand for. I would highly recommend this school to anyone that has a daughter!”

“Amazing school if you’re focusing solely on education, but socially unpleasant. Very diverse and creative courses. Teachers are either really friendly or absolutely unbearable; it depends on who you get. The announcements sometimes get out of hand since they’re done by students. There’s no cultural day or anything to represent your personal identity. The school is pretty clean and nice-looking compared to other schools in Southern Ontario. Overall, I would recommend it.”

“Been here since grade 10 (2021). Teachers are overall quite friendly, accommodating, and understanding. The library has many seats available, including red coloured “comfy” chairs and bean-bags. They also have some board games or fidget toys to play with there. The cafeteria is nicely sized, not as big as Stephen Lewis Secondary School’s cafeteria, however I appreciate the smaller size. Cafeteria food price has increased all around, by around $0.50-$1.00. A cookie used to be like $1.50, now it’s $1.80. Drinks are high priced, around $3.00 a drink, whether it is bottled sofa or vitamin water. Has three gymnasiums and can be separated into individual gyms. Office staff is friendly. Student Services staff is also friendly. Guidance councillors are helpful in academic advice, support, and other areas such as mental health and well-being. Washrooms are frequently littered with trash, however the custodians do an amazing job at making the place clean again. I appreciate the work of the custodians. Vending machines located within the school, however they often do not work. Big track field outside the school, with some metal bleachers to sit on. A small children’s park and water park are situated near the field. Parking lots can get busy, congested, and slow during peak hours. Overall, 4.5/5 stars.Improvements wanted:- adjusting the cafeteria food prices- fixing the vending machines on a regular basis- more after school sports club programs would be appreciatedIt is a great school to bring your child to. As with any school, there will be drugs here and there, however as long as your child remains cognizant of the dangers of drugs then you should be okay. It’s a culturally diverse school, with ethnic and racial groups from all over the world. It is not that hard to make friends at this school, even if you are new. They have a good selection of clubs, such as Robotics club, SAGE club, and Athletics Council. Office staff and teachers are friendly. You and your child will not be disappointed attending this school.”
