I wasn’t surprised when i saw the 2.8 rate.. we came here for replacing my friend’s debit card he lost it yesterday. The old lady in the branch accused us of constantly changing our story after my friend told what could happened to his card. What kind of a behaviour is this? This is unacceptable behavior. Please improve the customer service.

RUN. FOR. THE. HILLS. Having witnessed how they breached the trust of my mother, I will now also be changing banks and telling everyone NOT to bank with TD. What they allowed to happen makes me EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE to place my money in their hands, since they obviously think people's money grows on trees. My family has been a customer of the bank since moving to Oakville in 1998. I will try to keep this short. Last January, my charming, good-for-nothing father withdrew over $17,000 from their home equity line of credit without notifying my mother or discussing it with her beforehand (She's always been the breadwinner of the family since I can remember. He's always been very passive and a careless, pathological liar who is foolishly nonchalant with finances and with his health.) She was away for the holidays to be with her aging mother. Then, when she came back, he served her with a divorce letter in which he didn't even bother to spell her name right OR get the date of their marriage correct. Shows you what kind of person he really is already, because WHO DOES THAT?! After 35 years of marriage AND sharing a daughter together?!?! Anyhow, she was able to put a hold on the account––the branch manager at the time, David Murphy, assured her that the note that was put on the account will prevent my father from withdrawing any more funds, as the note indicated that both of them will have to be present to withdraw. By the end of June, my mother had paid off the sum my father had withdrawn to avoid paying anymore interest. Fast-forward to NOW...my father drove my mother to the airport on Dec 22 (she was, again, going to visit my grandmother, her mother), and I guess on the way home from the airport, he stopped at the branch, and GUESS WHAT?! He withdrew $20,000 from the line of credit!!!! Thanks to Assistant Manager Jason Carvalho, who, I surmise, is illiterate. I went to the branch in person with my mother for moral support, and we spoke to Manager Oliver Torralba, who did not so far as offer an apology. After 15 years of being a manager, as he claimed, he should know better. And only after visiting the bank after my father's SECOND withdrawal of a hefty sum of money did the bank offer to suspend the account?! My mother and I spoke to Jason Carvalho over the phone. To answer the question, "Why did you override the note on the account?" he answered, "It's a joint account." SMH. Jason should work in politics, not in banking. Then, after complaining that the manager did not even offer an apology, he said, 20 seconds later, "I apologize..." What the hell. Who are these people?! Robots?! When my mom asked, so how can I avoid having bad credit from this? he says, "well, if the sum is paid off..." WHAAAAT?! But what if there is no money from which to pay it off?! Jason should learn from his own mistakes, and the bank should either fire him or give him the $20,000 to pay off so he can know what it feels like. UNBELIEVABLE.

They faxed my RESP withdrawal documents to the back office of TD twice instead of emailing them. Waited 15 days then called TD they found the faxes somewhere else. This branch is very outdated and incompetent.

Zero Stars - DO NOT BANK HEREWent in one day to talk about a fee I was charged for the 2nd time after a worker at TD said the charge would not happen again. Sat down with a worker not sure his tittle but he would not refund me because the employer who said it wouldn't happen again had left. I asked for a supervisor I wish I remembered his name respectively he was a European young man - admitting to me he could give a refund but wasn't, basically admitting robbery right in front of me. Absolute Garbage bank- Moved over to BMO and they have never been better! Drop these thieves out of your life and move to a bank that cares- as for the kids that work there learn some respect .

Just walked into this TD. Didn't realise it has a separate entrance and exit (most don't). The teller from across the room loudly said "that's the exit, just letting you know". Was shocked, normally TD tellers are incredibly well mannered. Would have thought she would let me come to her station, and then politely share that, rather than embarrass me in front of everyone.

This Branch should be audited. Why? Because they don't communicate policies or financial advice properly. Maybe they operate like that to earn a commission without caring if they are harming the customer in the process. Overall, worst customer service I've ever seen. The Manager (Luigi), extremely rude and not very empathetic with the situation on hand. Sad to be treated like that after 10 years of loyalty to TD Bank.
