Dragonfly Arts on Broadway is a wonderful store and perhaps the finest arts store in the area. It is tiny on the outside, but inside is a beautifully merchandised, well laid out, airy and open space featuring a variety of amazing artwork from local Canadian artisans. All items are handmade, nothing imported. The art for sale is beautiful, interesting, diverse in artistic styles, and of great quality. It includes paintings, jewellery, pottery, and art cards, offering great gift ideas for any occasion or lovely pieces for your own home. It is the best place in Ontario for gifts and custom artisan work. An added and surprising treat is that artists are often in residence, working right in the gallery. It is inspiring to talk with the artists who are there. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the resident dog is a real sweetie. The store provides an enjoyable experience and is definitely worth a visit, even just to appreciate the arts. It is a five-star recommendation and well worth a special trip.
