Firstly. I am not the type to leave reviews and I will not be naming this women for we all have bad days. I understand it’s sometimes hard to have patience with the elderly but my mothers TV broke. She lives alone and is 70. She came to Best Buy to ask for help and was met with such a rude and condescending women she came home to me and cried. I am visiting from BC and if I had not been here I’m afraid to think of her crying alone. To answer to my 70 year old mother “what you can’t live without TV” when she is actively in what she considers a crisis is insane. I hope the manager reads to the staff and you know who you are and you sit there and think. How would you feel if it was your mother. Reflect please.

My boyfriend and I went to Best Buy yesterday to see what kind of phone plans were available as I was looking to get a new phone and a new plan. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by multiple staff and as we made our way over to the phone area we were greeted by Tom.Tom was excellent - this is likely one of the BEST customer service experiences I have ever had in my life. Tom was a rockstar - not only was he answering all our questions and made sure we got the best deal he really took the time to make sure the transition from my old phone to my new phone was seamless. Tom not only was assisting us but every single customer that walked by or near us he made sure to say hello and ask if there is anything he could assist with.I will likely never go anywhere to purchase a new phone/plan. I did not feel pressured and Tom made sure to answer all our questions and made sure we got a great deal.I cannot say enough good things about this experience - while we were waiting we walked around the store and we were approached multiple times to ask if we needed assistance with anything. The staff we had interactions with yesterday were all very kind and the customer service exceeded my expectations.Thank you SO much

It's very annoying that this location opens at 11am and not 9:30 or 10am like other stores in the mall area. MY goodness! Even the LCBO opens at 10! I spoke to a store supervisor about it and he was polite enough but looked at me like I was from another era. No, sorry... Best Buy's hours are from another era! Not a customer friendly schedule!

I went to Best Buy today and had an okay experience. The young man with the curly hair (name started with I) was a champ as he provided excellent customer service. He was knowledgeable, patient and professional. When he was not sure about something, he sought information in a timely manner from the geek squad. The reason I cannot give this shopping experience a 5 star is because this short blonde lady. It was 10 minutes to close and she started slamming down laptop screens to close them. I turned around as I was startled and she said “we are closing!”. It was as though the laptop slamming was to get my attention. That is poor customer service. I decided to leave and not purchase my computer. I’ll try again when she isn’t there.

The absolute worst customer service. Staff is not knowledgeable. My wife went in to buy us two Samsung s23 unlocked and she was told they would not sell her these phones unless she'd be willing to sign up for a plan with a provider. ( we have plans and providers already .) Management is awful and fabricates reasons as to why they won't sell unlocked phones, but in reality they will not because they make more off commission if they sell these phones with provider plans. They'll also leave you standing at a checkout for 20 minutes while talking amongst each other. Zero customer care, terrible location. Kudos Orillia Best Buy.

As always, this particular location seems to always have staff available to point you in the right direction. Good product selection, clean organized store. Tech support and assistance in loading large items is available.

Worst management from the great organization. Rejected my application for the job of sales representative by writing that it was rejected by candidate, whereas I never got call from them. How much corrupted the behavior is this? And there is no option for contacting by any means to the department.

Bought an open box 65” samsung tv. First one had dead pixels, exchanged it the second one had body damage on it. The third time ended up just getting a refund rather than getting another one with something wrong with it. Had better experience with another best buy store in GTA. Might as well get a tv at Walmart instead of this location.

Purchased the iPhone 14 , sales rep Mike was fantastic! He was helpful and didn’t try and oversell me , gave me options and gave me reasons why 1 option may suit over the other . Very personable! Thanks Mike !

Purchased a new laptop as mine died a few days before major presentation at work. Staff promised the data transfer from my old computer would be done by the next day. Nope! Not even close. I left at closing time with the new computer and 25% of my files transfered. I will be up all night redoing the presentation. What a mess. I'm beyond stressed.

Hours of operation 11 am to 7pm is perfect for a quick lunch or after dinner shopping experience.Excellent staff. Excellent management.I always find exactly what I need. If they don't have stock, they order it right to me and fast.I go out of my way to come to the Orillia store over anywhere else for the customer experience. The mobile department saved me so much on my plan and got me into a killer new phone on my last visit!I highly recommend this Best Buy.

I purchased a computer a year ago, being lead to believe it was necessary in order to graduate to Windows 11. Well I am still using windows 10, after Geek Squad promised Windows 11 was easy to install. It still hasn't been installed or activated following numerous attempts and returning to store. Great job, Best Buy

Today I walked into Best Buy meaning to only look at dashcams... An hour later I walked out with 2 dashcams, an outdoor speaker, washer dryer, and hundreds in savings. Christine and Tom listened to our exact needs and helped us find exactly what we needed - no up selling, no unnecessary back and forth, no frustration or impatience. They also worked with us to get the best deals possible on all the items. It was the best Best Buy experience we've ever had and I would definitely go back to these associates!

If u enjoy not being able to call the store directly… going through a painfully long automated phone menu to speak to someone not on location that cant help you out and now you have to wait for the store to call you back within 24hrs WHEN U WERE JUST TRYING TO CALL THE STORE IN THE FIRST PLACE. I highly recommend.

So disappointed with this location. Today is the second time I’ve left annoyed. Last weekend the sales associate would not sell me an iPhone out right because of a sale they were having which angered me because I drove over an hour specifically to Best Buy to buy a phone so I had to go to Costco for it and then today we went hoping to talk to someone about a Nintendo Switch but not a person in sight to help, so I opened my phone did my own research and again left to go to Costco. Won’t be bothering to try there anymore for anything.
