Hours: Manticore Books is a wonderful and lovely independent bookstore located next to Mariposa Market in downtown Orillia, making it easy to find. It is a great little bookstore with a beautiful shop featuring gorgeous exposed brick, huge bookcases, and an antique leather chair. The store has an excellent selection of all genres, including current and classic books, a huge kids' section, and a wonderful assortment of puzzles, gifts, toys, games, and Pride decor. The staff are super helpful and friendly, going out of their way to help. They easily order in books and provide notifications. Their website is easy for ordering, allowing reservations for set-aside items. This highly recommended shop is a reader’s dream and a must-go when in Orillia.
