I returned an item. Because canada post never got a signature they claim they never Cecile it. Now I'm out the cost of the item and pets and scams has the item back.

Terrible and rude Seller, avoid at all costs!!!Customer service and communication is awful, never seen before in my entire life.Buy from other retailers with peace of mind.Cannot believe they are still in this dirty and illegal business! I've been dealing with Pets and Ponds off and on for about 10 years. I do not recognize the problems people seem to be having from my own experience. Jason has always communicated in a forthright manner and the advice on the site is sound. I am an ex retailer myself for over 20 years in a different field so perhaps I am not quite so quick to blame everyone but myself for problems. I stopped by to pick up supplies for my snake & I was concerned when I was looking at their reptile/amphibian tank display. There was a small snake (looked like a baby corn or garter) without a dark spot to hide inside a tank that was labeled leopard gecko. Inside with it was a dish of meal worms, which they do not eat. Their spiders were still in their plastic containers that they arrived in, set inside the tanks. The previous time I visited I noticed their Whites Tree frog passed in its tank.

Staff pretty friendly, prices are reasonable, good selection, fairly knowledgeable, some pet food have a reward program, hours are ok I wish they were open til 8pm but they are open on the weekends which is still very helpful, clean and convenient location. They could use an on call animal groomer that does birds as well, I know they have been around awhile and deserve the business, great store thanks Critter Cove. TanyaR

I came in at 5 minutes to 6 pm closing. Knew what I wanted, they were courteous, showed me selection, it was $20 less than December 2016 and $40 less than expected. Win/win. I paid and am happy to say product is working well. Thanks.
