Great location for this Home Depot. Nice clean store and easy to navigate. Use their app to find where you need to go and what you need to get as there's only a handful of people that actually know where everything is in the store. Other than that it's a fantastic location. They always have what I need. The self checkouts are clean and efficient. The cashiers are efficient as well.

Nice, clean washrooms! Great place to spend some time waiting for another appointment, checking out all the things you need and didn't know you needed. My go to place for most building supplies. Love the damaged package discount!!

Just purchased an LG range. Our salesman, John Jackson, was very helpful and informative. We will be receiving our range later this week so reviews on the product will follow. UPDATE: We have our new LG range and honestly wish we had kept our 30 year old dinosaur. As careful as we've been the top is already marked after only 2 uses. The airfry feature takes more than twice as long to cook wings as in our countertop air fryer. Basic is definitely better. Oh well, too little, too late. Just wish we could get our old stove backUPDATE AGAIN:After a few days of use our new LG range was a fail but we went back to home depot with pictures . Initially they wanted us to call LG about the issue. We did not want to do this. We simply wanted to return this range and buy a new (different brand) range. Home Depot complied with our request and have a new range on the way. Thank you so much Home Depot for doing the right thing. Buyer beware, according to other reviews we aren't the only ones to have this issue with the LG range

Went in to purchase a smart thermostat using the Enbridge rebate. I went to cash out and there is no staff at any cash registers. They only have self check out. I scanned the slip and my Enbridge rebate code and paid for the thermostat. After I purchased it I had to wait for a staff member to come and unlock the case and give me the thermostat. Turns out they didn’t have the thermostat in stock. The customer service rep says they can issue a return on the amount I paid and said I will have to contact Enbridge and sort getting a new code for my rebate. I asked the staff member why there were no cash registers open and there was response was there is only two staff in for cash like it’s my problem they couldn’t help me. At no point during my purchase did anything on there POS system say item not in stock please speak with staff before purchasing. Unbelievable. Will not be shopping at this home depot location again.

I never write bad reviews but this time I have to. After waiting in line to cash out I told the cashier I was purchasing bedding stones which were on a skid literally 20ft from him. He made no effort in looking up the item or coming to scan it. These bags are 70lbs each and I parked my car by the door so I could simply load them in and not have to waste time lugging them around the store. He told me to take a picture of the barcode and the the lineup was quickly growing. With haste I ran and was back maybe 30 seconds later. At this time he was already serving another customer. I waited patiently for him to finish with his customer then jumped in and told him I have the barcode. He told me that he could no longer help me and that I would need to go to the back of the line. I was absolutely furious as I waited before and was back within seconds. I will do everything in my power to never shop at the Orillia home depot again.

Since the advent of technology home Depot has become mostly self serve . What I don't appreciate when I'm doing the majority of the work and I go to a manned check out counter is being thrown a paper bag and having to bag my own goods.If I wanted to do that I would have used the self check out service . If customer service is not goal of your cashier's I recommend replacing them all with a self checkout kiosk

The Team Heather, Breanna, Dave, Adam, Vipul make your experience great. Next time if you are in this location keep and eye out for one of them. They are the ones going above and beyond for their customers. These individuals took the time to understand the needs of their customers and get to know them, they bring immense value to this organization. I have nothing but the greatest thanks for them. The staff are great and willing to help when you ask them questions. As a trade professional, I also really appreciate not being badgered after I decline an offer for help when I’m in the store grabbing what I need. Thank you staff at Orillia Home Depot.

I used to like this store. I bought tons of tools here. Went in and bought some wood. Then went to find stain. The section is so disorganized I couldn't find the stain I needed. I found an employee stocking a shelf and asked for some help. He came over pretty quickly but on the way to the stain isle, another employee stops him and asks for help. The guy ended up completely disregarding me and went to help his coworker and other customer. This is garbage. I'm a paying customer too and was cast aside. I then went up to another employee who was hanging out leaning on an isle. I asked him for help finding the stain. He then took me to a computer where it told him the isle number where the stain is. That was the extent of my help from TWO employees. I guess I'm going to home hardware from now on.

Cleanest public washrooms I have ever seen.... whichever staff member is doing washroom clean-up should get a bonus or something, cause I don't usually leave reviews but this was worth noting. Also, staff were super helpful and very friendly, not sure why there were so many complaints in the other reviews

Returns were quick people at the return desk. We’re happy to give my son a sticker and funky handshakes. Everything was really good went right back in and had a really good shopping experience.

I was at Home Depot yesterday May 24th, upon entering I noticed at the service desk 5 employees standing around? A staff meeting maybe ? I knew what I needed , picked it up and thought I’d check out at the service desk, as I had done in the past many times . I was sent off to the cashiers. I proceed and not one was open, the only option was self check out …… hmmmm I thought to myself, no I don’t work here I want the human touch and go to a cashier. I was than flagged over to a nice young lady at the self checkout. I mentioned they would be working they’re way out of a job . Upon leaving I walked past the service desk once again to see 5 employees doing absolutely nothing ! Now I remember why I shop mostly at Home Hardware, they always have lots of staff ready , willing and able . Again I do not work at Home Depot & I prefer not to self checkout !

I don't understand the need to show a drivers license when returning a product. I have the proper bill and also my credit card used for the transaction. So I ask the question, why not ask for your driver's license when using a credit card?Oh, and pay for more employees at the checkout counter.
