Penningtins have the worse customer service I have ever dealt with in my life , especially when buying things online I do not recommend this store ever

I very much enjoyed my experience at the Pennington's store in Orleans, so much so that I went there 3 times in 1 week, the staff, including the manager we're very helpful and pleasant, thank you for the great service!

Was in the store on July 9th 2024. I was there almost a half hour before I was even acknowledged that I was in the store. I think I counted 4 people working and not one offered to help. And I didn’t even see anyone else being helped either. One girl that not seen me had left for a bit and I assume had gone to lunch. When she came back she saw me and was the most helpful. I mentioned to her that she was the first to even acknowledge me and I just assumed they don’t help people anymore. And she said well we are supposed to and she apologized. Now I could have asked for help but when you have 3 other employees passing you by numerous times you would think one would offer help?? Not the best experience. I wish I’d gotten the girls name that was helpful. She was amazing.

They randomly close early on Tuesdays when they stay open later the rest of the week. Being unaware of this, we walked in and they told us the store closed in 5ish mins. There were dresses hanging right at door and I quickly grabbed 2 and was headed to the cash to be told the cash was closed. I have never been in a store ready to pay and refused service.

Pennington's in Orleans is the worst in Ottawa.
I was there this afternoon Sunday June 9th 2024.
There were four or five girls working I was not greeted by a single one, I was not offered or asked if I would like a change room so when I was ready I chose my own.
I tried on the articles of clothing that I chose and decided to purchase a few items.
When I went up to the cash there were two young girls on cash helping one lady.
One of the girls went away, after several minutes I asked if there was anyone else doing cash I was told "No", I was ready to drop the items I had on the floor and leave.
After 15 minutes it was my turn, I put my items on the counter.
The girl at the cash was less than pleased to be there.
She rang my items through and just stuffed the clothing into the bag like it was garbage.
I know you cannot discriminate when hiring people but young skinny girls who have no idea what it is like to be overweight have no business working at a Plus size women's clothing store.

I just left the store. Most unhelpful associate ever. The only thing she said to me was "if you don't find your size we can order it online". Nothing after that, just went about her tasks as of we weren't even there. I REFUSE to shop in that chain of store ever again!!!! Please stay away from this store if you ever need bras. The prices aren't worth the service they give which is 0

I spoke with Miriam at the Orleans location about curbside pickup. She could not have been MORE helpful!! Tons of patience, she walked me through the whole process (I am not techie at all) It was a wonderful experience and very much appreciated I have always enjoyed the staff in the stores as well. Always helpful and polite.

I just left penningtons and I have to say I had probably one of the best most helpful experiences ever at any store. Vicky helped me with my sizes and I actually found something that fit. I felt extremely comfortable and not weird about my weight just a very accepting environment. I want to say thank you one more time and I highly recommend coming here if you need help with bra shopping! This is the place to go!

Cybil was amazing. The experience was equally wonderful. We were looking for clothes to go away on a cruise and found everything we were looking for. The experience was made even better by the assistance of sale rep Cybil. Thank you so much :)
