I went into PetValu on Innes on Road in Orleans.
I bought the kit that would allow me to take a paw print of my Sr. Yorkie, and while I was talking with those behind the counter, the Groomer came out and was telling us how to do it. She recommended that we trim his nails and the hair around the pads. She said it would take a better print.
We asked her if she would be willing to do it and she did. She did an awesome job.
Everyone there was so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I walked away extremely happy. I would highly recommend this PetValu. They have very professional staff.

This has been my go to Pet Value for some time especially since they added the dog wash. A couple of weeks ago I booked an appointment to get my dogs nails trimmed. I booked the latest appointment possible as that is when my schedule allows for. I recieved a call in the morning explaining that the 3:30 appointment before me cancelled and asked if I could come in earlier. I said I probably would not be able to. She said that if I was not able to than I would have to be booked for a different day but to call back when I knew. I checked my schedule, I was not able to get in sooner, I called back and was told well we will have to book for another day. So I politely said, I'm sorry, the 4:30 time is when I booked for because that is what works for MY schedule. If my appointment time will not be honored I will cancel my appointment and no longer do business with this location. To which the girl got defensive and said well, the groomer doesn't get paid if she doesn't have appointments so she can't sit around waiting for you to arrive. To which I politely informed her, that if the groomer does not know how to advertise her services and fill holes on social media, that should not become the clients fault. You have now left me in a lurch before the long weekend to get his nails done somewhere because the appointment I booked weeks ago, you could no longer commit to. Do better for your clients!!

I have been a loyal customer to this location for some time now. The store is always clean and organized and the best part is their kind and caring team of staff! I find it rare these days to have consistent, positive customer experiences, but they deliver just that - they're the best! :)

Booked and paid ahead of the service for my dog’s grooming. Fell sick on the day off and was late 25 minutes. They refused to take the dog, proposed no alternative, nothing. I lost $110.00.
My advice: Don’t pay ahead of time, they will be more encline to accommodate and be flexible if you have a delay or were unable to be on time.

I had one of the best retail shopping experiences in memory whenn looking for a new cat tree yesterday. The staff member that assisted me (unfortunately I didn’t catch her name) was one of the most lovely and caring people I’ve met and made sure that we walked out of the store completely satisfied with our purchase. Not only did she go above and beyond in helping us make the right decision, but also made sure that the cat tree fit into my small car safely and securely as not to be damaged on the way home, going as far to partially disassemble it, help me carry and load it into my car, and providing instructions on how to reassemble correctly. She also made sure we knew how to get replacement parts as to have our purchase last forever and even reassured us that we were buying Canadian. This was my first time shopping at this particular location, but it most definitely won’t be my last as she made sure that I’ll be going out of my way to go here and support this business and their amazing staff members and animals. Kudos to your team for their fantastic customer service and care for their clients pets!

Bought oko cat litter pink bag. Soft wood 99% dust free since I have allergies to cats & kitten. This litter is amazing if you suffer from allergies. Just bought 10lb bag on sale $19.99 reg $22.99 $3 off til Jan 29 I saw. Try and get a rain check if there's none sometimes stores will honor the sales price if they have run out of stock.

My bf and I visited this location on Friday May10th after having just picked up our brand new puppy. When we entered the store there were no other customers in the store but there were about 3-4 people standing and conversing around the cash desk. We were greeted upon entry which is appreciated and had acknowledgement of how cute our puppy was. I told one of the employees that she was a new puppy and we needed EVERYTHING for her. I was passed a paper containing various coupons if that helped me. And that was it. No further assistance offered. I had to go to the cash desk to inquire about a price of a dog dish which was clarified and employee proceeded back to talking at cash desk. I then had to go again to ask about a dog food to which the store did not have. No other suggestions or recommendations were made. We were trying to find things ourselves and when we asked bout collars was pointed to the area again no other customers in store and no extra assistance. I'll repeat that when we arrived we were very clear that we needed EVERYTHING for a new puppy. I would like to think that would seem like a golden opportunity to make a great big sale for the store. We ended up being quite upset at lack of interest in helping that we only bought one item a dog dish and left. Employees didn't even inquire the fact we didn't purchase anything more being that we did day we needed everything for a new puppy such a crate, a bed, puppy pads, collar, leash, harness, quality puppy food and treats, various toys, cute outfits, etc etc the list goes on.
We ended up going to Pet Smart where we had above and beyond service and spent about $750.00
As a retail manager myself I'd be plenty disappointed if my staff had handled a customer and a situation in this manner.

I appreciate the shock at the service and yes I hope you do look into it as the situation has left us never wanting to return to your location again. Unfortunately it's too late to fix the situation but I hope it's a learn as you could of had regular loyal customers. Thanks again for taking the time to respond and try make things right.
