My insurance recommended this Carstar location to me so I gave them a shot. From the beginning communications with Danielle all the way to the end with Vas and his team doing the repairs, I was very happy with the end results.

I only use my personal mechanic for all of my vehicles but had to use a dealership for one my cars warranty repairs this past year and they ended up damaging 2 wheels and the front bumper and not even have the courtesy to admit they did it. Just gave my key back and hoped I wouldn't notice which I did, I won't mention the dealership as they did rectify the situation by paying for all repairs (I did not want them fixing it so they just paid). Anyways, this is to say, I don't trust anyone except my mechanic but Vas was great and walked around my vehicle with me and any little smudge I noticed, he cleaned on the spot which was no actual damage, just residue and whatnot.”

“To Rich, Julie and the team,
I wanted to express my thanks for the exceptional service I received recently.
My car had been rear ended and the insurance company referred me to Fix Auto Oshawa North. My car was repaired in a timely manner and the work done was perfect (it looks brand new). In addition, my car was cleaned inside and out and saved me from having it detailed!
While my car was in the shop the brake lines, which apparently were badly corroded, broke apart releasing the brake fluid and causing the brakes to fail. This came as a shock to Rich and his crew and an incredible shock to me! I told Rich that when the car was finished I would have it towed to my mechanic. He suggested that I should contact the dealership as perhaps there might have been a recall on the car and it could be covered under warranty. I never would have considered this as the car is nine years old. I knew there had been two recalls on the car but I couldn’t remember the first one. As it turned out there was a recall for the brake lines and Hyundai covered the cost.
I am so thankful for Rich’s sound advice. He saved me a lot of money and I will be forever grateful!”
